I've been reading up on Colorado law and I'm still confused as a hobbyist.

I've got lots of liquid culture and lots of extra grain bags. Colorado cultures and activated brands can sell both the bags substrate and liquid culture without issue.

But the research I have done says if I sell a grain bag and give away a liquid culture syringe. Or if I sell a liquid culture syringe then I'm violating the law.

Is this how everyone else reads the law?

Whats the optional temp for grain bags to colonize? I feel like I never get the sweet spot. Either too hot or too cold.

Right now I have 12 bags moving very slowly and I would like to dial in the ambient temp to help them along.

Ok weird question. Has anyone tried to use a pure oxygen tank to introduce oxygen into a sealed tub to displace CO2?

Use a filter patch and blow the oxygen in to one side and let the CO2 escape another patch on the other side. Or is this just overboard?

What's your favorite grain for spawn for Pan Cyan's.

And what's your favorite substrate. I have CVG substrate but I know I really need a manure-based substrate to get the best results. I just ordered cow manure substrate from booming acres. Anyone ever used this substrate?

For me so far the Red Milo seems to work the best but I'm open to any other recommendations or suggestions.

I'm about to try my hand at pan cyan.

What's the best grain for these?

Can anyone show me pictures of colonized popcorn? I've got several bags running and I'm getting some weird colors. But I don't get the bright white like I do with rye berries

Is there a subreddit dedicated to growing pan Cyan? I'm about to dive in to that adventure and want to explore all the tips

I need to hear from some experts that grow pan cyan's.

I've been doing research and everything I am watching and reading says after I mix the grain with the substrate and see fully formed no on the top I have to put a layer of casing over them.

Is this accurate information? Do you do this? If so where do you get your casing material?

I'm wanting to grow these poppies next summer. Where is the best place to source seeds? I'm in Colorado.

Happy Wednesday. Curious question. I just bought the supplies to develop mycelium. I've got a sample on a agar plate now.

My real question is that I've got a couple of syringes of mycelium I bought from the store. If I inject one of the jars with that syringe will it grow more mycelium and ultimately give me more to work with?

I'm watching to get into growing culture.

I just bought the malt agar plates the still air box and the other necessities. Does anyone recommend a video I watch or any other educational resources on culture growing?

I'm about to harvest my second flush of mushrooms that were started in a bag. They are in a hard cake now. I have transferred them to a mono tub that has perlite at the bottom soaked in water and they are laying on foil.

Some reading I have done says to dunk the cake and submerge it in spring water for a few hours.

Is that accurate?

What does that process look like submerging the whole cake for a few hours. I've read some places that say up to 12 hours but that seems like a very long time to submerge the cake.
