I've been trying to figure out the difference between "Hazel eyes" and "Hazel eyes with CH"

I have struggled to try and find out the difference between hazel eyes and hazel eyes with Central heterochromia (CH).

I found a lot of different opinions online (Reddit included) and decided to try and ask AI as well (yes, I know, they're not always right and tbh they _suck_ at making realistic and understandable visual differences). I spoke with multiple AI chat/image bots to try try and make sense of it.

One said:

- Hazel describes the color palette (brown + green + gold mix)

- Central heterochromia describes the pattern (distinct inner ring ≠ outer zone)

However, everyone (AI and internet/reddit) seemed to agree on something specific:

- Hazel is a evenly spread out mixture of brown tones (gold colour included) and green tones (from emerald to olive).

- CH has a clear division in a "solid" inner ring around the pupil (freckles excluded) and outer ring (which can have one solid colour or a mixture of different tones - theoretically hazel included).

Now I tried to gather all information and create/draw the differences in two images to try and make sense of the differences (I used an existing picture as the base, to try and make them look realistic - it won'tbe perfect).

Of course now I am curious as to what Reddit thinks as well...

Do you feel like these two pictures clearly show the difference between hazel and hazel + CH, do you feel like they're both hazel? Do you believe hazel with CH can even exist?

I am honestly really curious about all of your insights 😊

Please do go gently on me if you disagree with the picture I painted to try and illustrate the differences... 🙏 Thanks in advance

CH, Hazel or both?

Multiple pictures to show my eyes in different lights.

Would you consider this CH, Hazel, or a combination of the two (which apparently is also a possibility)?

Please let me know your observations and thank you in advance!
