First time experiencing allergies...help

ok so for context, my mom and grandma have terrible seasonal allergies and I've always been grateful that I didn't have to deal with it. WELL. About a week ago I noticed that I'm rubbing my eyes more than usual...then over time they've gotten more red and puffy. My mom bought me some Pataday drops that kind of help, but the skin around my eyes is still red and puffy. I'm ordering some Allegra pills now and hopefully those help. But my mom hasn't had symptoms as bad as these so idk what to do....
