- processor: intel(r) core(tm) i5-10210u cpu 1.60ghz
- ram: 8gb (upgradeable up to 32gb)
- graphics card: 128mb
- storage: 1.14tb (256gb ssd + 938gb hdd)
i’m wondering if i can survive my 1st year and even 2nd year as an ie student with this device since buying a gaming laptop is out of my budget right now. i’m planning to upgrade the ram to 16gb or 32gb and just use our school’s computer lab for heavier tasks if needed.
also, if i decide to buy a new laptop in the future, can you suggest some laptops that would be good for industrial engineering? thank you!

I’ve been researching MMCL, and many students say it’s quite challenging because of the fast-paced trimestral system. Honestly, I’m worried about failing subjects since the tuition is expensive.
On the other hand, I’m also hesitant about UPHSL because I’m not sure if the quality of education for BSIE is at the same level. I don’t want to choose a more affordable option only to regret it later if the program isn’t strong enough.

Nagresearch ako abt MMCL and many students ang nagsabi na it’s quite challenging dahil nga sa fast-paced trimestral system. Honestly, worried ako na magfail ng subjects since mahal nga tuition.
On the other hand, I’m also hesitant sa UPHSL kasi I’m not sure if the quality yung education for BSIE is at the same level as mmcl. Ayoko naman pumili ng more affordable option kasi baka magregret lang ako if the program isn’t strong enough.
