So the other day (this Monday as of posting) me (15m), my brother, and my stepdad were watching a show together, and he got a call from my mom he had to take. Normally if he has to listen, he asks us to pause it, but he got up and walked away. Cut to an hour later and I’m in my room (I got bored waiting), and my mom walks in, which I didn’t expect as she said she was going to be at a club thing all night. I don’t think much of it and she tells us to come upstairs. She tells me that one night, my dad was out at his apartment’s pool when they had to chase him out. The next morning, he didn’t come to work, so the company he works for called his apartment complex, and they checked his room. They found him, and he was gone. It’s been a few days and his funeral is next week. My parents were divorced so I was only with him every other weekend, but this was so sudden I dont know what to do

A while back i (15m) was enjoying the song "Puzzle Park" by smg4 around my stepdad (37). He looked into it that night. Another day, i was forced to play video games with my little brother (10) and got bored. The two of us had been wstching smg4 (Ive been monitering which ep we watch), so i asked my stepdad if we could go watch a show together, and he asked what show. I told him smg4, and he asked if that was the show wiyh mr puzzles. I said yes and he said dont watch it because, and i quote, "they talk about demons and stabbing people" (just fyi, we were about to start the anime arc). I got frustrated since this came out of nowhere. Skip ahead a week and Glitch annouced the TADC Last Act. I ask him if we can go see it, and he said he'll look into it. Not even a minute later he tells me tgat i shouldn't watch TADC because it's demonic and bad. Im standing there trying to figure out what in the world he is talking about (yes, I'm aware of ep 3, but he looked at an ai overview on google, also i dont like ep 3). He told me to delete my music associated with hazbin, smg4, and tadc, which i didnt since i thoyght it was ridiculous. Skip to today, and he told me that he went to the TADC and smg4 fandoms and claims he had to click on a "I am 18+" agreement to get in. He told me that those shows are for adults and a 15 year old shouldnt be watching or listening to that stuff. He also told a therapist (whose's never heard of TADC or smg4) about it, and claims the therapist agreed tgat me liking it is silly. Want one more little, golden nugget? This is the ssme man who made me and my brother (10 mind you) play Mortal Kombat 1. He is also completely okay with me and my brother watching the Bayverse transformer movies. His reasoning? "They're fake so it's fine". Someone pleass give me advice for how to deal with this nonsense
