I love Haus Lab foundation. Just wondering is there anything even better?

Love the full coverage without being thick and cakey. I should be satisfied but Im always wondering if there is something even better.

Still having throat burning no matter what I eat.

Diagnosing myself, which seems you have to do these days, I suspect that I am having an LPR flare from something that I shouldn't have eaten and a week later I am still having burning in my throat no matter what I eat, right after I eat. I have been drinking Alkaline water and throat coat tea, also started Reflux Raft 2 days ago. Does this make sense to you all and does my throat just need even more time to heal?

Did anyone get more energy from upping estrogen dose?

I know testosterone works for many people but it hasn't helped me. I've been on .05 e patch for 3 months now. Still tired from the moment I wake up, inspire of 8 hours of sleep. Im going to ask my doctor if increasing my e dose might help. She did recommend I take an iron supplement because my ferritin is low normal. Maybe a combination of these will help. Ive got 4 weeks until a big vacation to Greece! I need to get my energy up!

Does anyone have throat irritation/sore throat as only symptom?

I used to have throat clearing also, but that has gone away. I hear all these other symtpoms on here like cough, and feeling like you have something in your throat. It makes me question if I truly have LPR. But I do notice throat soreness and irritation after eating acidic foods and sometimes just food in general, and Im seeing a gasterenterologist who has me on Nexium and has ordered an endoscopy.

Do you feel physically ill, like malaise when you get hot?

I don't really get hot flashes that make me sweat and come on in a flash, but I do often feel hot from the inside out, sometimes corresponding to hot weather, and I feel physical malaise along with this.

Do certain smells aggravate your LPR?

I was at the nail salon today and the chemical smell was so bad it gave me a sore throat. Also there is a woman at work who blasts essential oils in a diffuser and I had to make a complaint.

I just realized that greek yogurt is more acidic than cold brew coffee!

I've been eating greek yogurt 2 times a day for months and stopped coffee, thinking I'm being good. I saw greek yogurt is as acidic as tomatoes and beer! Stopping that now of course. And now I can get a cold brew coffee! If you like an iced latte you can get a sweat cream cold brew at Starbucks and ask them to put some milk in it 😊

Does anybody feel generally malaise, unwell and tired all the time? I have burning in my throat after eating, but Im also in menopause and not sure what is causing me to feel like constant crap.

I have been eating Greek yogurt a lot and notice there might be a pattern after eating this, so Im going to cut it out for a while.

Did anybody find that diet, perhaps refined carbs, was causing fatigue and glucose dips? Has anyone worked with a dietician on this?

I'm thinking there is a pattern in fatigue and feeling malaise when I eat certain things, particularly refined carbs.

Did anybody get bad cramping from HRT and have to switch to a different formula or dose and then saw an improvement?

Ive had really bad cramping for 2 weeks now after starting combi patch 2 months ago. Not sure if its HRT related or not. But Ive been to a gynecologist and had all the tests plus ultrasound which were negative and to a urologist who said they didn't think it was my bladder. Im switching to estrogen patch and vaginal progesterone and I really hope this helps!

Does anybodys pain feel like menstrual cramps?

I'm post menopausal and on HRT and have had what feels like period cramps for the last week. I also was having a stabbing and burning feeling and went to the gyno. He preceibed pyridium and referred me to a urologist. The pyridium seems to have helped the burning and stabbing feeling, but I still have the cramping. Im not sure if its from my HRT and hormones, or bladder related. We'll see what the urologist says but wanted to ask this group in advance. Thanks!

Testosterone did nothing

Been on it a year and noticed no change in libido, energy or mood. I also started E and P Combi patch about 2 months ago. Im jealous of all the people saying T was such a miracle for them! And my T levels have been tested recently and they are at a good level. 😭

New to this and looking for advice especially about malaise

I've been dealing with throat soreness and burning for about 7 months now. I also sometimes have throat clearing after I eat. This started around the time of me entering menopause. My doctor referred me to an ENT who referred me to a gastroentologist. I only had a brief video meeting with him and he prescribed me pepcid and omeprazole. I took both for a while and didn't notice any difference. I haven't met with him again because I didn't really like him so I need to find someone else.

I've been doing research within this group and decided to try elimination diet to help me as well as Gaviscon advance and alkaline water. I'm still in the process of trial and error with all of this including finding what my main triggers are (I know what the typical ones are but trying to figure out for me personally). I am suspecting coffee and citric acid drinks are the worse. I feel like I flare for about a week if I have any of that.

When I am having a flare I feel like I am run down and have malaise like a sensation of I'm sick or about to get sick. Does anyone else have this? This is the part that is baffling to me because I'm not sure if it's the LPR or something else, including perhaps low estrogen. I've had all my blood work done and it's fine. In asking AI it says that the LPR can cause inflammation which can lead to the malaise feeling. I'm just wondering if this could be it and if anyone personally has this same experience. Thank you!

I always wake up so tired and groggy. I'm currently not on HRT. In tracking my sleep it seems like I am waking up too close to REM sleep and this perhaps because I wake up with a hot flash and then go back to sleep and dip right into REM and then get up shortly after.

I'm trying to figure out if this is from the GLP1 or something else. I have had a sleep study done, I have had all my bloodwork done. I sleep fine and track my sleep and my sleep architecture is okay. It's for sure not because I'm consuming less calories because I stopped for a while and then just started back up last week and it hasn't really impacted my hunger yet. I am trying to self diagnose using AI and it tells me that my cortisol is out of wack with being low in the morning and then higher at night because I have a bit more energy at night.
