Use up stickers you don’t want anymore
I’m swatching some pens that make designs on the stickers and then labeling them so I can see what they do at a glance. Almost done with this sheet!

So I’ve done this in the past but just decided to revisit the idea and post it. Use stickers that are largely white and on hopefully normal paper, then swatch out your pens, markers, or pencils. Then you can see at a glance what color you want. Even though I have a swatch book, I like to have the item itself also labeled. I usually add scotch tape at the tops or bottom or sides of the stickers to keep them from peeling off later, but I’m careful to not cover up the swatch cuz that changes its appearance. You’ll use up unwanted stickers in no time!
Hope this belongs to this sub, sorry if not. For context, I’ve been a widow for almost a year and seven months now. I lost my husband to cancer and then was diagnosed myself with breast cancer. I live alone and will be downsizing in a year and a half to a small apartment after being in a big house for 25 years. So today, I forced myself to get up, brush my teeth, get a bag, go thru a closet and finally throw away and sort some stuff! I did find some things I’d been looking for, which made me smile and laugh through my tears. Plus I found a few items to give away, which always cheers me up. Also I found stuff that belongs with my hobbies, so I put them there, in their right places. Cried a lot, but at least I started doing this. The whole time I kept singing this goofy song I’d made up:
The stuff of life, y’all,
The stuff we bought, yeah,
But I don’t need, I can’t use it,
So it’s gone, yeah!
So I’m trying to calm down and feel proud now instead of sad. Help me out, guys! TIA!
