Just giving my wife the roses she deserves! I’m blessed to have her. Shes so special I moved countries haha. The day I met her I knew there was something special about her. Heres to many more years.
I’m a sucker for fall/winter fragrances. My small collection I have is probably 90% fall and winter scents; my favorite being Tuscan Leather. I tried to open up my taste and got Bleu de Chanel edp and Versace Dylan blue which are both great but they both have a weight to them I don’t think matches the vibe of the sun being out and it being hot outside.
I’m not a fan really of smelling like fruit (even though I just ordered supremacy collectors edition) and a vetiver seemed like a good route to go. The guerlain EDT seemed to be the standard and I see why! The first words out of my mouth when I sprayed it was “wow…”. I’m nowhere near a scent expert and I’m a criminal for olfactory fatigue but this scent to me is the perfect definition of earthy, depth, masculine, non overpowering without smelling synthetic. It’s kind of like a cologne that’s not trying to be noticed but smells magical non the less. This will be in rotation for a long while!
I thought I was over leather fragrances. I thought I would smell it and think I’ll go back to a gourmand scent or a bleu de Chanel edp…. After 8 hours of wearing it I think this is my favorite scent of all time!!!! Why must it be so expensive haha. I ordered La Yuqawam to see if it compares. I pray to God it does!
