Title says it all, Shmups often have a slow/slower ship at the default selection.
I get that it might be easier for new players? But I feel like faster ships are always more fun.
What are your guys opinions? Anyone always choose the slowest ship?
I play via pcsx2, is it worth setting up the wheel as a Logitech driving pro so I can get the proper force feedback or should I just make the wheel emulate the controller analog stick?

I got a gun4ir setup and was playing some model 2 emulator games like Virtua cop 2 and confidential mission on dc. Aiming and shooting felt amazing
When I switched to retroarch duckstation ps1 games (started with point blank 3) it seemed like the shots didn’t feel quite as accurate / responsive.
Is this a general ps1 lightgun thing or should I use a different emulator?
