Scared of body changes

I’ll preface by saying that I feel so grateful to be expecting twins. However! … I’m terrified of body changes. I’m 5’3 and around 115 lb prior to pregnancy. I’m 10 weeks today and already have a noticeable bump…

Twin mommas, give me your advice for managing body change anxiety and tips for getting your pre-pregnancy body back after delivery.

When did nausea and food aversions improve?

I’m 9 weeks 3 days with di di twins and I feel absolutely terrible. I can’t walk through the kitchen or open the fridge without gagging from the smells.

When did food aversions improve for you if you carried / carrying twins?

Tell me it will get better 😅

Feeling nervous for what’s to come…

Hi all. I’m 32 years old and currently 8 weeks pregnant with di/di twins (first pregnancy). Now that the excitement has worn off a bit I’m feeling more worried about all the possible complications that can happen (pre-eclampsia, gestational diabetes etc). I’m 5 ft 4, 117 lbs, and live an active lifestyle. I’ve never had a high bp in my life but measured 127/78 at our first maternity clinic appointment. Can that be normal at this stage?

Looking for some calm reassurance for an anxious mamma to be.

Give me food ideas when everything sounds terrible

Bagel and cream cheese sat well this morning, frozen fruit is also a winner. Protein bars seem to curb nausea once it starts. Give me your favourite first trimester foods!

SO EMOTIONAL

I’m almost 7 weeks pregnant and could not stop crying today, over seemingly nothing. These emotions are WILD. On top of that, food tastes terrible and I’m beyond nauseous.

Seeking solidarity 🤝

Early first trimester symptoms

Hi everyone!
My partner and I just confirmed yesterday through an early ultrasound at 5 weeks that we’re expecting twins as two gestational sacs were seen on ultrasound. The ultrasound was initially ordered early because I’ve been having intermittent pelvic pain and light pink spotting for the last 4 days.
We were told twins could be why I’m spotting and having pain due to the hormones and fast uterine growth. Did anyone experience these same?
Thank you!

Spotting in first trimester

Hi all,

I posted recently, but I’m almost 5 weeks pregnant now and wiped very light pink this morning. I’ve also been experiencing intermittent sharp cramps on both sides of my uterus since last week. The cramps are infrequent and don’t last that long when they show up. The spotting, however, is disconcerting. I read it’s common for up to 25% of women to spot in their early weeks of pregnancy. My blood Hcg yesterday is on the very high end of normal, to the point that it could be twins, and still appearing to rise (I think that’s a good sign)

Looking for some calm words of encouragement to get me through the anxiety. Anyone else experience spotting early on and go in to have a healthy baby?

Thank you!
