Reformed Egalitarian Denominations

I'm a member of an EPC church. I've worked at ECO chuches. I don't love ECO but it was fine. You can disagree with me if you like (which would be pretty funny) but the PCA and OPC and ARP seem too contentious to me. I also don't see 1 Timothy 2 or 3 to be about women pastors. On the other hand, I think the PCUSA has some meaningful problems in the long run. Even if I disagree about what a few passages mean, I'm not a liberal.

I've recently moved to a city with no EPC churches and I don't like either ECO church. Is there another faithful Bible-thumping Reformed denomination that's cool with egalitarians?

[All] Life is Strange 2 Endings [S5]

My girlfriend and I finished Life is Strange 2 today. We went on Youtube to find the other possible outcomes for the game.

1- After LiS, BTS, and TC, the finale was the first time we disagreed on a big final choice. Wild to us. That was hard. I still maintain that the set up for "how does the story of the wolf brothers end" sets you up a determination to ram through the border.

2- I was literally shocked by the ending where Sean died. I literally couldn't believe after all this gameplay that they'd casually kill Sean that way if you had a few Daniel morality points less than you though. Geeze. We didn't get that ending and my girlfriend cried anyways. Did anyone get that one? Did everyone who picked it just leave?

3- I feel like having the X axis and Y axis for Sean's and Daniel's decisions made it feel like a bigger world and more open. But man, it gets complicated and messy fast. I won't if DONTNOD kept control if we'd have seen even more branching stuff.

4- I feel like all four endings were presented as melancholy in some way. But thinking back even a little bit later I think the specifics of three of them were actually pretty happy all things considered. I think the framing and music made everything feel grim and sad. Was that just me or was that real? And if it's real, why do you think it was written that way? You think most games have a good ending right?

Listeria from Publix

Hey Greenville - just wanted to warn everyone about this specific spring mix purchased from the Old Buncombe Publix. My mom and step dad used it to make a salad last Wednesday and both started feeling awful almost immediately. My mom made a decent recovery after 3 days or so, but my step dad got worse and ended up being hospitalized with a 105 degree fever. We were told my mom got him to the ER pretty much in the nick of time. Took 48 hours to get his fever below 103 and after a lumbar puncture we were told he had Listeria Meningitis.

After a lot of thinking my mom was able to narrow it down to this specific lettuce. The infectious disease people have been really helpful but due to funding pulled from the CDC and public health department they said the protocol is minimal now.

We’re contacting Publix and filing a report with the FDA and hopefully the word will start to be spread so no one else gets so close to losing their life.
