Removed from medical school need urgent help

I was mentally affected by the war as my parents were being bombed in UAE, the financial strains due to the war. I performed consistently over 3 years. I did well in the mock before the war. After the war started my anxiety shot up. I repeatedly fell ill. I got involved with therapy immediately after the war. I was scared to being diagnosed with any mental health condition. I got convinced to go to the gp eventually and got diagnosed with anxiety 2 wks before the exam I did not inform the university because my brain was too reluctant to accept the diagnosis and the failed results of AKT and Osces just added to the anxiety. I was placed in a rural campus for this year and it made things a whole lot worse. Close to exams mu laptop broke down twice I even kept receipts of literally fixing it and then being forced to buy a new laptop.

I will be appealing but I am so scared that they will remove me and not consider my appeal. I have never had a repeat year. They are not even giving me a repeat of 1 year.

Looking for a genuine friend

Listen closely, I am not here for any relationships and most importantly I am a 23M, so please do not send flirty messages thinking 23F.

I am studying mbbs in the UK but I am a mix of Indian-portuguese. I came speak English, hindi, a few indian regional languages I can understand. I am learning spanish or at least trying to learn. I love to yap and do not want to be ghosted after one chat. Also I love spamming voice messages so be prepared to get spammed.

I just want someone I can talk about daily tea or just a positive presence and both friends help uplift each other in achieving our goals. Making stupid jokes and both dying from the horrible humour. Someone who can have deep talks at the same time the most nonsensical bs to exist.

Need help: Will be repeating y4

I would really appreciate some advice into how to start from zero. Everything was going well for me until the war in the middle east started and my mom's office got bombed. Although my mom is safe and dubai has held off most of the attacks. I just couldn't keep my focus after those events and it took up my apr to june prep. Which resulted in me failing my exams altogether. My parents said Medicine is a Marathon so don't worry if you find yourself failing or repeating a year. But the entire situation is very disappointing.

I have a few questions as I intend to really ace the AKT and my osces.

  1. What would you recommend for passmed: should I do topic wise for cardiology and then reset the bank and do the full subject again in my second revision? Or should I just do mixed questions of cardiology?

  2. Any other tips around revision for what is studied and how many questions to aim for per day?

  3. Any advice regarding osces and prepping for osces?

Thanks a lot guys, I just feel very let down and lost. I blame myself because I did not really have any health conditions that affected me. It was my own emotional state that cost me a year. Please be kind in the comments. Thanks.

UKMLA rant

This is so frustrating they had so many days, it isn't mcqs on papers that must be checked individually. I can understand the process taking time but the lack of communication and poor adherence to deadlines is ironic as we as students are expected to meet ridiculous deadlines. Even universities delaying results after giving a specific time.

Sorry if I am overreacting.
