I’m a total beginner in photography. I wanna buy my first camera and lens but I have no idea what to actually look for.
First, about what I want to shoot (and I also wanna film): it’s probably easiest if I just show you some photos I’ve saved that I really like. I know a lot of them had the colors heavily edited in DaVinci, but what I mean is more the object and the perspectives.
I’m thinking between the Sony ZV-E10 and the A6400. I read they’re not full-frame cameras. Will I even notice that as a complete beginner, or is that more for later when you’re advanced?
For the lens: I saw the Tamron 28-200 f/2.8-5.6 and it sounds like a great all-rounder. Would you recommend that? Or better to get something like the Sigma 30mm f/1.4 and then another lens with more zoom later?
My budget is around 1000-1200€ total.
Also: Is something like the A6400 or ZV-E10 actually “better” than an iPhone 17 Pro? As an amateur I only look at the 48 megapixels or 4K120 video. These Sonys are lower on paper. But how do they compare in sharpness, dynamic range, colors, etc.? I have no clue.
Thanks?
I've been working on a 4k Rendered Video project that incorperates stills and video.
Video looks great
Photos are above the 4k threshold and of equal quality. High resolution.
As of recent, when I go to export, the high res images in the timeline itself and being exported pixelated and at a much lower quality then the images actually are, and what they are in the timeline before export.
I tried deleting and exporting again thinking maybe it was a bug or glitch out during export process, same issue.
This wasn't a problem in the last 2 films I made in the same way and same format.
Anyone know how I can fix this issue??
