A really phenomenal refresh of an already excellent pistol. What finally got me to purchase one of these fellas was the new “Link Trigger System”, which is the real highlight of Bul’s 2026 lineup IMO.

It’s literally one T10 screw. Replace the shoe in 4 seconds, adjust the over-travel screw without having to fight with the pass through hole, and have a whole new feel faster than you can mount an optic.

The downside for me is that it only came with one shoe in the box - the medium curved. They really should have included a medium flat shoe (at least) to demonstrate the value of the new system…

I bought three alternate shoes to get a feel for what I liked. I settled on the flat wide medium, which is easily the most comfortable trigger face I’ve ever used. Blows the hell out of my Staccato flat face or red dirt trigger despite being a MIM part (I suspect).

I’ve been carrying a CDS9 for the better part of six months now, and have been wondering if there’s a lot of thoughts about the pistol from the community? My personal experience has been very positive with the performance, but iffy on the coating and value.

Took this guy out to the range to try out my can. Ran flawlessly with all types of ammo (HP, FMJ, subsonics, +P). Very encouraged by the performance of the CZ custom barrel. Bought an extra and had both coated in DLC for some added longevity. Think I’ll sell the second since they don’t seem to show wear. Highly recommend the CZC trigger job as well.
