Advice, please? I SWEAR I did everything alr

Hi, taking the SAT for the 2nd time this Saturday. Did these practice tests reflect ur actual scores, guys? 🥸 I took Practice Test 6 around 6 months ago and it reflected my April SAT score exactly (1320 Comp, though my Math is lower by 20 points and RW is higher by 20).

I really hate how this whole SAT thing is draining the shit out of me. I keep getting the Information and Ideas, Craft and Structure (esp. vocab), and last 6 Math questions wrong and idk what to do anymore tbh. Any tips?

I thought I've improved...

Bruh. The No.8-14 passages on RW (Module 2) still gets me, ugh! Aaand the tricky Math questions (mostly on 18-22, module 2) still tricks me. Honestly, I don't know what type of review I should do anymore.

If u were in my situation, how would u review for a 1500-ish on the August SAT? Pwease help

Would I be a competitive candidate? - CO‘27

Desired Major: Statistics or Engineering FY (Surely choosing Exploratory as 2nd choice)

Profile

  1. Asian, low-income household of 5

  2. Non-citizen (under mom's working visa) currently attending a high school in NC

  3. Transferred from a well-known high school in my country (known for sending reps to Regeneron) to a small, rural one in 11th Grade (does this even matter)

Academics

  1. GPA: 4.21 Weighted (Okay so, my transcript is not yet evaluated thoroughly; this might go up by a little. My previous school doesn't offer any type of advanced classes, but my classes were "inherently advanced.")

  2. Coursework: Only taken AP Stat, so far (scored a 4). Though, I filled my senior schedule with 5 APs (incl. Calc AB&BC)

  3. School ACT: 29Comp, 32Math, 30Eng, 26Read

  4. Probably the most competitive thing on my transcript is my 11-class load in Grades 9 and 10.

  5. Got 100 on all my junior classes (though, most were regular/honors-level; AP Stat is my only AP)

ECs

  1. Unpublished research which received an award on a research fair. I led the group, esp on data analysis.

  2. News Writer (9-10) on my school's newspaper club; Editor-in-Chief (11-current) on my self-established digital newspaper. I mainly do data journalism (I also took two Journalism classes)

  3. Advocacy project on promoting my country's culture in my community

Honors

  1. Questbridge Prep Scholar

  2. 2nd Place on NC Math Competition (by NCCTM)

  3. 3rd Best Research Project

  4. A couple others from my current school

Thanks guys! I've been worrying about college apps 🫪

Any current students who got into Ateneo through the SAT route?

Hi, an international student here. Do they have a minimum SAT requirement for Ateneo? I currently have 620 Reading, 700 Math. Not sure if I'll make a good candidate. Thanks!

How is BS Statistics?

Hi, a rising high school senior here. I'm currently building my college list and am curious about BS Statistics—would you consider NC State as a "good school" for opportunities (prestige, internships, etc.)?

Also, what were yall's high school stats (GPA, test scores, ecs, etc.) that got u into this program? Tysm ;))

First AP Exam

Hi yall... how is the ap stats exam graded 😭 is it true that I only need a 70 - 75% for a 5? I am confident that I can get to the 26 to 32 range for MCQ, but I only answered 1 to 4 of the FRQ (kinda confident with most of em since I ran out of time adding as many details lol). Would a 5 be achievable for me?
