Somebody, Please Stop Me 😁

I don't need this. There's no occasion. I just want it :).

I primarily go for side switches and built-in USB, although I've got a few that I really like that break that mold. The M1 looks like a great little pocket rocket, plus I like the head to body proportions. I just ordered an M26E with the F150R 5kk because I really like the few F150R 🫘 I've seen. This M1 with the F150R 4KK seems like it could be pretty insane. Does this seem as potentially WOW as I'm thinking?

F150R 5KK Beamshots Anyone?

I'm about to pull the trigger on an M26E with an F150R. All I can seem to find is examples of the 4kk version. I like it, but I'd love to know how it compares to the 5kk version. My main thing is, like most of us, I dislike any amount of positive DUV. I don't like things TOO rosy, but a slight negative DUV is preferred. Also, is the overall output or throw likely to be significantly different between the two? While we're at it, if anyone has any 🫘 of the 3KK or 6500k, I'd love to see those as well :).

Anyone Know Specs On These 14500s?

The Convoy site has these at what looks like a good price, but there's no info available other than this photo. I'm sure these don't compete with the big boys, but I'm wondering if they're worth having a few around as back ups. Anyone know the specs, or have experience with them?

Concrete Question for DIYer

This particular question is in regard to one of my own home projects. I do a lot of general handyman stuff, but I have just enough concrete experience to potentially get myself into trouble. I need to pour a very small retaining wall that totals +/- 6.5 CF. ~ (40" wide x 35" tall x 6" thick). I have a small, 3.5 CF mixer, so I'm figuring 2 60lb bags of ready mix per batch so I keep the mixer within its comfort zone. I will probably be doing this without a 2nd set of hands. Obviously, I need to do each pour so that it's going on top of fresh concrete that has not begun to set. But, does it matter when pouring the last few batches (the last foot of the wall) if the 1st foot at the bottom has already begun to set? Or, is it important to get all of the 3' high area poured completely before any of it starts to set up? I don't expect that the complete job will take too long, I'm just wondering if it would be worth waiting until I have a helper available to help speed it all along.

What Do You Do With All The Wrist Straps?

If you have a sizeable collection of lights and aren't into using wrist straps, what do you do with them? I only have a couple of lights that I keep wrist straps on. I'm inclined to keep a few of the better ones and toss the rest.

M21H SFT70 4000k CRI

I'm checking out the M21H SFT70 and I'm debating between the 3kk and 4kk. I can't seem to find any real info on the 4kk CCT quality and CRI. Does anyone have any experience with it, especially as compared to the 3kk?

NLD: TOWILD BC10

For some reason, I've been curious about this light for a while. Little known, but the reviews seemed positive. Apparently, at one point, Amazon had it listed for about $80 but it has been at $30 for a long time. It's about $40-$50 on AliExpress depending on the day, minute, and second that you see it. Well, during the Amazon Days "sale" it came down to $23 so I figured I'd check it out. It's my only multi emitter EDC so far. All in all I'm impressed. The hot spot is huge, and the spill is gentle and smooth. Tint is meh. On par with other 6500k lights I'd say, but not noticeably green. Built quality seems excellent. I sure wouldn't pay $80, but for a quad emitter, compact, 21700 light it's a pretty great value at $23.

Suitable Power Supply Or No (I Think I Know The Answer)

I just picked up (for about $20) a little Nobsound NS-04G PRO to power some rear speakers in a simple home theater setup. I'm not concerned with squeezing the amp for all its worth. I ordered it without the power supply because I've got a few extras lying around. However, I just noticed that this one is rated at 12-24V and the smallest that I have is a 32V 5A. Common sense would say this isn't a good idea, but I am seeing some conflicting information between the Googles and what some people say they're getting away with.

So, I'm just looking for some confirmation as to whether or not a 32V 5A power supply will fry my little 12-24V amp, or if all will be ok in this tiny universe.

NLD:Wurkkos FC11C - I See The Light

R. Sofirn SC18 6500K

I've seen this light recommended so many times I was really feeling left out! But, since I've got a couple SC18s and I lean towards 21700 lights anyway, so I really didn't see the need. Well, I spotted it on AliExpress for what ended up being less than $15 delivered, so I had to go for it. I have to say, I'm impressed. Great CCT, simple and intuitive UI, nice beam, and USB C. The build quality seems great. I've heard a couple of reports durability of durability issues, so I'll have to see how it does in the long haul. This light seems like one the enthusiast can enjoy and appreciate as well as being simple enough to give as gifts or recommendations to "normal" people.

Buyer Refused Delivery. Please Help Me Do The Right Thing

So, a buyer purchased an item from me and after I had shipped it I got panicked message from him saying he had the wrong address on file and wanted to cancel the order so he could repurchase with the correct address. I would have been happy to do that if it hadn't already been shipped. The only recommendation I had for him, since it was shipped in an envelope, was to file a change of address form. He ended up refusing delivery and I got the package back, un tampered with. I would like to either offer him a refund minus costs, or if there's a legit way to do it, have him pay for shipping again and I can resend it. But, I believe to do this it has to be outside of ebay's domain. Would I just give my Venmo info?

PSA Fraudulent Convoy Site

As I'm sure many of you are aware, our beloved Convoylight.com is being phished. The version (www dot convoyledlight dot com) is a scam and has apparently been reported since there is a warning when the url is entered.

However, convoyLEDlight.com (without the www) still leads directly to the fraudsters site. I just reported this to Google. I'm not sure how this stuff works, but I imagine the more people who report it will increase the likelihood of something being done.

Simon is aware but is unsure how to address it.

Convoy 46950-Am I Doing This Right?

OK, so I finally got my order of EVE 46950 batteries. I've never done this transition before, so after doing what research I could, I wanted to run it by y'all to see if I'm doing this right. I've labeled everything as clearly as possible, so if anyone else is hoping to glean similar info, they can follow along as well.

I'm adding the 46950 to my 3X21E.

- I haven't tested anything. I want to be sure I've got everything how it needs to be before I assemble it.

- I have read that I will lose my 2nd (click-hold) turbo. Is this correct? If so, no biggie.

- I also still need to determine the correct length for the spring. I will also solder in a bypass with some romex, or whatever is recommended as the best option.

Thanks everyone, or hopefully someone, for your feedback!

Hi. I used to do quite a bit of selling several years ago. I just listed some new items recently. The first sale came today, and timing was such that I was able to get it shipped out within a couple hours of receiving the order. Typically a good thing. Shortly afterward, I got a panicked email from the buyer that he wants to cancel, then reorder because he needs it sent to a different address. I looked in to Package Intercept, but it's $20, and unless I did something wrong, I'm not willing to pay that. Plus, if I understand the policy correctly, changing the shipping address would void the seller protection from ebay. I don't believe I'm obligated to do anything, but I feel bad, and I'd like to do something if possible. I told him that since it was shipped in a padded envelope, it would be included in a change of address form that he could fill out online or at the USPS. Is there anything else that can be done, or is that the best solution?

So, I found a sale too good to pass up for an Acebeam L35 V1, so I got 2. I've heard so many good things about this light I figured I'd better get one. I'd like to do a swap out on one of them. I'm still figuring out all the technicals of swapping, but from what I can see, the XHP70.3 hi 4kk is a pretty natural upgrade with little fuss. I love the idea of putting an LHP73B in it, but it's only 3V, where, i believe, the L35 requires 6V. Would it be difficult to convert the L35 to 3V? Are there any other emitters that would be a good match for the L35? I want to avoid any hint of green, and I'd like the most output possible. In this case, I'm not as concerned about hi cri, as I am about neutral, leaning warm and a good beam patter.
