Ridiculously low T until I can get tumor out

I am male, in my early 30s, had a sudden bout of illness this summer. Was diagnosed with Pituitary Adenoma and secondary Adrenal Insufficiency. I do not know specifically if it is a prolactinoma but my last day in the hospital, my Testosterone was 10, prolactin don't remember but was on the high side.

It's strange how fast I became ill and everything crashed. I had a sexual partner earlier this year and never noticed anything other than mild issues in that area. But I definitely have them now and realized that when I came home.

They say I can't really be treated for it until they get it out and the whole process is taking a while. It makes sense, they don't want to mess up my body's chance of creating it naturally again.

But my whole mentality feels different. I feel like I have an old woman's hormones. Strong depression, lack of focus and creativity. Lack of sexual interest but definitely lonely and very much interested in girls. The sexual stuff is shitty enough but mentally I just don't feel like myself. I know it's just a couple months to get through but I wouldn't wish this on anyone.

Forgot to say this is all happening in my first year of adulthood getting sober from drugs and alcohol. It's been a wild year.

(Rant) Headshops are insanely dangerous and hardly even sell real kratom. Makes getting treatment harder

As someone who used actual kratom leaf for a decade, which is bad enough on its own; it blows my mind to see how headshops have become since I started.

Not only have 7 and all these designer drugs blurred what was already a complicated issue- headshops are literally as bad as the streets. You don't know what you're getting, even if you're buying like a fake weed cart. I am completely serious when I say I wouldn't relapse on the kratom from these places because the quality is so bad, and I'm positive whatever I bought as far as "leaf" was not even real kratom. Thankfully, I think I just got some bunk from there and not something that was gonna mess me up.

I don't understand it at all- if you're using regular leaf buying online is much cheaper, as well as safer. Which is not to say you should do that either, as I said regular kratom is a bad addiction I wouldn't wish upon anyone either.

My biggest issue with all of this is that it's completely blurred everything when you try to get help for regular kratom- doctors automatically assume youre on some hardcore crazy shit. As bad as this drug is, it's a mild- mid opioid that can be quit with a little support. 7 seems to be a whole other problem that requires more intensive strategy.

(I have also been addicted to stronger opioids, so I completely understand that, no judgement if you're in that boat. I'm just saying it's a lot different than quitting kratom)

No friends shit hits different now lol.

Not gonna sit here and ask people to feel sorry for me. I lost most of my friends doing h not even because I was wildly out of control. Because I was in a sad state and didn't want to be seen that way. It's been like ten years since I had my regular group of friends, I later started taking kratom and lost whatever was left.

It is a great time to soul search and do self improvement which I am. But let's be honest being lonely sucks, it is not fun. I try to remind myself that I had no friends just last year and it didn't bother me because I was numb and tuned out.

8 months sober, new health problems wrecked my life

Well guys this has kinda ruined my recovery lol. Thankfully I have reasons with my condition not to relapse on kratom and I was doing great 7 months in.

The negative side feels like this is all being stolen from me, it's not just something I am anxious about, I have physical issues and am limited due to failing hormone levels. I am stable and not given a terminal diagnosis yet or close to it so Im staying positive. I've actually made a lot of positive changes since I got out of the hospital and am working as of now.

I guess I've been privileged in my health given how much I abused my body, Ive been told this ones not my fault. I am young to have this sort of thing going on but i am honestly feeling more alive then I was before my diagnosis. In spite of certain issues. Wishing well to everyone on here no matter where you are in your recovery and life journeys.

edit: I know it didn't really ruin my recovery I'm just frustrated, I've gained so much and I couldn't recommend it more, it does get better.
