RCD and Idle Hands
These actually came out better than I expected. time for some durability testing this weekend and then final aesthetic touches before making a sizable batch.

I know this is a niche product line, but the lack of aftermarket selector options was surprising to me. I sanded the stock selector down quite a bit and still theres still more to go before it’s comfortable to manipulate with a high left handed grip.
Figured I’d get started on this project while I’m waiting on other samples to arrive. Fully symmetrical, thinner, shorter, and both sides are swappable.
I’ve been trying to find a way to pay on the Perfect Zero site and can’t seem to find a way. I ended up placing an order without paying and reaching out to support, so hopefully they’ll let me know within the next week or two.
I tried paying by card but there was no box, popup, or action to enter my card information. Same thing for echeck. I tried adding payment information to my account as a separate action and there’s no option. Is the expectation to just call with card information later?
I tried finding non-shielded lefty ambi safeties elsewhere but it doesn’t seem like anyone carries them, let alone being in stock.
Update 6/29: They replied to the query via email and will call tomorrow to update payment information. The problem on their website is still happening so hopefully I can get that squared away too.
Sometimes it’s easier to make the part. Currently testing a variety of SLA materials and they’re all boringly functional. Ran it in a Glock, Shadow Systems, RXM and Staccato HD. I’ll run these in my next comp for more of a stress test.
Still need to figure out a good left handed light and laser situation for night comps. Might just switch to a GL4/GL5 or Iris4 to make it easy.
Magazine lock makes it so that you must separate receivers by a decent amount to remove the mag. Completely shielded on the other side you can’t unscrew the latch either.
Next step is to fix this selector.
I’ve been waiting on RCD ACRO plates for a while, they finally arrived.
Testing the prototype APC/GHM mag lock today, and it’s working well so far. Nice day, it took its time to heat up.
