First time using instavolt, started the charge with my fuel card (RFID) but had to pay with bank card at the end?

Bit of an odd one! I started the charge using an allstar fuel card but at the end of the charge the charger was requesting payment still and wouldn't accept the fuel card - I ended up paying with my bank card but then a few hours later instavolt refunded my account?

Wondering if anyone could tell me where I went wrong or if this is a charger to avoid in the future?

Im half convinced I maybe was meant to ignore the card reader and just drive off!

Tiling a stepped ledge - do i have to use trim for the outer corners?

I want to tile the 'ledge' in my bathroom (currently in white tile with a windowsill - not my work) in white kitkat tiles from the floor to the bottom of the (tbc) cabinets on the wall.

My handyman (good ol dad) has informed me i will have to have trim like on the other tiles on the outer corner, the edge of the ledge so to speak. I've seen many cases in design magazines where this is not the case!

How is it done? Is it worth paying a tiler to do the stepped ledge to have it done properly?

Do you use wound dressings for DE and if so are you a wet or dry wound care person?

Just saw the post about someone with a flare that was struggling to heal and am experiencing the same issue.

I usually follow the old fashioned advice of keeping wounds dry and open to the air to heal, aware this is probably not best for DE!

How do people care for and protect their large patches of DE when healing? Im talking about raw, thin skin where blisters have drained naturally or popped already.

Dummys guide to public charging with a (company provided) fuel card?

Work have provided me with an allstar fuel card so that I can use public chargers without being *rinsed* as I have no home charging.

Looking at my options I have tesla, ionity and gridserve closest to me. Do I need to register the card in these chargers respective apps or can I just tap?

LVT or laminate for downstairs, where to buy and experience with dark floors in south facing rooms?

I've been fighting myself to accept my boring grey carpets inherited from the last homeowner but since the weathers warmed up they've started smelling like cat pee in the sun - even after being carpet cleaned multiple times 🤢

I'm set on dark wood floors but a little confused about the following:

- do I need to be worried about fading from direct sunlight? Rooms are very sunny!

- Can i get away with laminate for the ground floor including kitchen and hall or would this be self sabotage?

- where are we buying it from?! Whats a 'normal' price???

Any advice and experience would be very welcome because I commit to spending this money!

As said, I'm on 1600kcal a day (short and sedentary lol) but im at 1400kcal and starving so not planning to skip dinner.

I can either go for my planned dinner of pizza (its a treat day) or have something less calorific but filling like porridge or topped toast.

Refusing to hit the 'sod it' button but also not a person who skips meals over 200kcal🤔
