I hate the expectations I put on myself

First off I want to share that I was diagnosed as moderately autistic rather late in life, in my mid-30s (I'm 41 now). I've had this nagging feeling that I'm being left behind by the very small friend group I have. Most are almost a decade younger than I am and they have managed to do the "normal" thing of finding a girlfriend for themselves but whenever I try to do it I always get incredibly intimidated and end up not saying anything at all. I've tried forcing myself to go out without said friend group and try my own hand at this interaction thing. I've tried karaoke. I've tried conventions. I've tried the local game store. I've tried just going to the closest bars. Nothing works. I can't get over the intimidation factor.

Honestly, the only time I really felt comfortable asking someone out was during a board gaming group that I used to belong to but the pandemic completely destroyed that. There hasn't been a real replacement in my area since.

I've also asked my friend group for advice and help but they're pretty useless. Every time someone "tries" it always ends in disaster. The last time I went out with someone claiming to help me with my issues they ended up doing NOTHING. I was told we'd go to a live music event and they'd be acting as a wingman but as soon as I arrived they did fuck-all. Proceeded to chat with their friend and pay me zero mind.

I don't think they really know what to do with an autistic person and they don't really know why I'm having all of these problems. What more can I do to get over this problem? I don't want to end up alone for the rest of my life.

Is there ANYTHING else I can do as a man?

Online dating was supposed to be an easier method of finding a date for me since I don't really have a lot of opportunities in real life. I've made profiles on Bumble, Duet, Tinder and Boo and I'm ghosted EVERY TIME! It doesn't matter what I say in my intro message I get zero replies. I ask about common hobbies, I complement her looks and I try every conversation starter under the sun and I get NOTHING! Is online dating really rigged against men like I've heard it is? What should I be focusing on to increase my chances of a reply? It's been many years since my last date so I'm very much out of practice so I could use a little guidance.

Best method of getting proxies for my cube?

I've always wanted to create my own Cube for me and my friends to draft from and I wanted to get some ideas on what would be the best way of creating all of these proxies. I'm looking at about a 360 card Cube and I've come across a couple methods of getting proxies.

First method and the most common method I have used for my Commander decks has been printingproxies.com. They're a really good value for Commander, especially with their newer pricing model of $1 for each proxy for 50+ cards. So about $100 per Commander deck has been good to me but I think this is something else entirely.

Second method I've seen my friends use as been from this thread from 2 years ago: https://www.reddit.com/r/mtg/comments/1hs76ph/how_to_print_your_own_high_quality_proxies_from/

That one seems like a LOT of upfront work, especially asking for a laserjet printer which starts at about $400 all on its own before the other tools. $400 I don't really have. I'm wondering if an inkjet color printer like a Canon MegaTank would be a more budget friendly alternative, especially since I plan to print more proxies in the future. What's the community's consensus? Proxy printing business or print from home?

Trying to find 10 minute play from my past

I was a theatre student in college around 2004-2009 and one of my classes was a directing class. I was tasked with directing a 10 minute play, from casting to costuming to props to rehearsal...the whole 9 yards. I'm trying to find the script that I used for my class. I don't have a title (obviously) but the gist of the play is as follows: we have a Palestinian couple, the wife just found out she is 2 months pregnant and she comes from a family that in the past have decided that this was their calling. She now finds out that her husband wants to do the same thing and for the duration of the play she wants to dissuade her husband from killing himself. Sadly at the conclusion the husband does leave her with his bomb vest. I hope that this is enough for you to help me find this blast from my past (no pun intended)!

7th Guest Remake/VR help

I've been having fun with the new 7th Guest Remake (more of a port of the VR version) but I've become a little stuck. There's supposed to be a trophy for viewing all of the guest photos. I did that but the trophy's not popping for me. What am I doing wrong? Same for the music boxes.

7th Guest HELP!

Is there a way in The 7th Guest Remake/VR to reset the puzzles back to the beginning? I think I screwed myself on some of the puzzles! ACK!

40 [M4F] Illinois Mulder looking for his Scully

If this title drew you in you already have my attention. As it alludes to I am a huge fan of the original X-Files and love looking into the paranormal whenever I have time. When I'm not doing that I can be found working as a pharmacy tech, and during the spring season I also work in my community as a high school baseball umpire. My nerdiness also transcends digital media since I do prefer playing board games to video games. I have a rather large collection of the former so I'd love to meet someone who is at least a bit familiar with them. I'm also trying to work on dating while on the autism spectrum, so please don't get too scared or offended at my quirks and eccentricities. I haven't had much experience despite my age so I just ask for a little patience.

If you have a fun paranormal experience I'd love to hear about it!

Some years ago I was part of a board gaming group here in the BloNo area. The group sadly dissolved with the coming of COVID and with most of the more attentive members leaving the area. I thought that enough time has passed for me to try and revive it. Would this be something that people might be interested in? There are a few places in downtown Bloomington that might serve as a good place to meet up at.

I just got done with an NFHS level game and one of the coaches was adamant that I got this wrong. Situation is that there are runners on 1st and 2nd. A ball is hit into the infield and a throw is attempted to 1st since the fielding team apparently thinks that a play at 2nd is not possible. Throw goes wide and the ball rolls under the fence and out of play. The fielders throw up their hands, and upon seeing this I do the same to rule the play dead at that point. My partner (working the plate) rules that the trailing runner had rounded 2nd at the time that I threw up my hands and thus awarded him home plate and awarded the batter third and I confirmed this ruling. Coach was still adamant that we got the rule wrong and that it should have been runners on 2nd and 3rd. Could someone please confirm what the rule should have been? Were we wrong in our ruling?
