Hi there! I've been looking forward to the Ravenloft Lupin, so I tried making my own version! Hope you all enjoy! My main design goal is to not rely on designs that focus on uses per rest or spell as traits.

Here's a Detect Balance breakdown in case you want to check the balance of it against those rankings.
+13 from ASI
+3 Unarmed strike that uses Dexterity or Strength (1d6 weapons are listed as +2 and get +1 if they can use Dexterity as well)
+2/3 from Bestial Aspect. ( a +5 movement speed has a rating of 2. Powerful build by itself is listed at +2, so I assumed the push reduction adds another point.)
+2 Darkvision
+1/+2 from advantage on survival checks to track (Survival by itself is already listed as 2, so I'm not sure how an even more limited version would rate)
+2 from 30 ft climb speed.
+8 from Terrifying Howl (Nimble Escape and Blindsight out to 30 ft are both rated at 8, and I don't think this is that much stronger than either of those options.)

That ranges from 31 to 33, with the lower yield being equivalent to Elf Which is still less than most of the highly ranked species in 5.5e. Stuff like dragonborn, human, goliath all are in the upper 30s, so I think this might actually be pretty in line with other species based off of that.

Hi there, this is my newest Fey species! As with all my designs, I try to aim for a design that avoids spells as traits and avoids uses per rest mechanics. I hope you like it!

It should be roughly in the low 30s for DB based on what some of my collaborators in the Unearthed Arcana discord gaged.

Hi there! Here is my next installment for my Fey species! I've been mulling over this one a lot, since trying to stick to my design sensibility of not relying on uses per Short or Long rest has made this species especially Tricky, but I think I've come up with something fun.

Also, for Quick Reflexes I thought that advantage on Dex Saves would be fine once per round, since something like Gnome's get Gnomish Cunning (Advantage on all Mental Saving throws). Mental saves make up for 141 saves presented in monster stat blocks and in Lair actions, whereas Dex only has 110. I'd also argue that mental saves are by and large much more debilitating than Dex saves. But let me know! If you think it is too strong, please tell me how I could put it more in line with Gnomish Cunning.

Also if their speed is too high, I have considered reducing the base speed to 30, which would let keep the first option for Absolute Speed, and then let the second option be only 35 feet. Either that or make the first option only give Disengage as a Bonus Action.

My current design mindset is to make sure that every player species has their signature trait by an innate ability, and not tied to resource expenditure.
