I’m in the middle of a custody battle right now and I realized something: Divorce is like 10% actual law and 90% administrative nightmare.

Every weekend, instead of being present with my kids, I was stuck at my desk digging through thousands of texts and PDFs to find specific facts for my lawyer. The stress of the paperwork was actually worse than the court dates.

I couldn't find a simple way to manage it, so I built a tool called Ask Litiga.

I just wanted a way to search my own files and find facts instantly so I could stop living in folders and get back to my life. I'm putting it out there for anyone else who is drowning in 'discovery' or paperwork fog.

If you're going through a tough case and want to try it, I’d love to know if it helps you save time. I’m just trying to make this process suck a little less for all of us.

I’m currently in the middle of a divorce and custody case, and I wanted to share something that has helped me stay sane.

The hardest part for me (besides the obvious emotional toll) has been the sheer volume of files and facts. I found myself drowning in PDFs, screenshots of texts, and random notes, trying to piece together a timeline for my lawyer. Every time I had to find a specific document, I’d spiral into a panic.

Since I couldn't find a simple tool to handle this without it being overly complicated, I used my background to build a site called Asklitiga.com.

I built it to solve three specific pains I was having:

The "Where is that file?" panic: Keeping every legal doc in one searchable spot.

Fact-Finding: Making it easy to pull specific dates and details for my attorney without spending hours digging.

Mental Clarity: Just having a system made me feel like I had some control back in a situation where I felt powerless.

I’m not a big company; I’m just a guy going through the same "paperwork hell" as many of you. If you’re struggling to stay organized for your case, please feel free to use it. I’d love to hear if it helps you find a little bit of peace during this mess.
