As the title says, I think I just had my last ride on Panterian yesterday. 😓 I decided to take a solo trip to KD yesterday because my son is away at camp and I had the day off so I decided to take a break from responsibilities for the day and have a solo park day. It was Monday July 6th, very low capacity day and I was marathoning coasters, especially Twisted Timbers, love that thing! Panterian as per usual was on and off day, and I kept missing it. It was over 100 degrees so it needed cool down time. I have to get a ride on this thing every trip, so later in the day I waited about 10 minutes and it was up. I blacked out, hard. I've blacked out on it before in the back, but not for this long or hard.I even remember thinking, oh damnit right before it happened. I'm thinking it was because it was freaking hot it was running extra fast, and my blood sugar was a bit low. I was really shaken up, but I was fine by the time I got to lockers. I've ridden this thing allot in past, even when it was Intimidator 305 and themed to Dale Earhart. No issues when I was younger. Now in my 40's I think it's just too damn much for me. Thankfully, I can still ride everything else, no problem. Anyone else thought "that was my last ride" after riding something? Getting old sucks.
