Kitbashed an apothecary out of the ancient in the Armageddon box. Includes an arm from the white scars sprue, and a deathwatch helmet... but the real MVP is the ravenwing black riders coming with apothecary bits.
I'll fix up some of the rougher cuts once the glue is dried with some greenstuff later, but I wanted to share!
I'm frustrated with my local players and especially GW.
Rant following.
The locals won't play against legends units like the fellblade and scouts with sniper rifles. Now my favourite units may be going to legends. So this is about to really affect me.
I love the look, feel, and vibe of the suppressors. And I've been slowly getting second-hand guys for years until I got 3 units. I love that the massive guns, I like the suppression mechanic.
I really wish they got a single plastic release and have no idea why they were gatekept by gw behind getting started boxes.
I'm especially frustrated because I've been trying to get my hands on a judiciar or two, and they haven't been available either.
If I could've chosen one or the other for GW to axe, controversially, I would have chosen a training chaplain that, for whatever reason, can slow down time!!!
I like the ability in the game, but why not buff the ancient to have fights first... why not grant the judiciar's abilities elsewhere and let people that have it keep a cool plastic model.
I know it isn't one or the other. But I can't be the only one who loves the suppressors and wanted the widely available - only to see them on the list because despite what people say online - some communities don't want to fight against legends units.
