My 3800 blew up so this is the summer daily now. 89 k1500. 5.7 auto. 4 “ rc lift. (I couldn’t get anything more expensive. I’m actively trying to close on a house because my dumbass younger brother ran a 4 wheeler into the door and is actively making my life a living hell.) 3 core aluminum radiator w electric fans, headers and dual exhaust, LEDs and a few interior mods.
So I got this to replace my clapped out 280k mile Yukon. Got it for cheap because it needs rear shocks, It’s a bouncy bastard. I want to get rid of the air ride. Also will Tahoe front struts work on these, or is there some Cadillac specific struts I gotta use? I got a good used set of struts from my brother after he paid me to squat his Tahoe (I know, I know get the pitchforks, I’ve committed a crime)
At some point in its life the original hood got wrecked and someone didn’t feel like spending $400 on a hood (understandable) and put on a hood from I believe a JD 185. I Had too much to drink and then cut a hole in the hood and put mesh on it so the cooling system could breathe. Then I was like “I have LED pod lights from my truck lying around and the headlights from my Arctic cat 4 wheeler, might as well use them for something, and I might as well make a discharge chute so I don’t launch a rock into the neighbor’s window” (Also is normal for these things to idle at 2 grand?)

So i got this thing as a project for free, got it running and now i think it deserves new tires. Wondering what people run on these atc’s. While the ones that are on it hold air, that’s about the only thing they do good. There not much of a circle anymore. Size is 25x11r9. The only ones I’ve really seen are mud lites and I personally hate the way they look.
