[MASKS] Potential on rejecting influence
Super simple question. In Masks: A New Generation. If you fail the roll when Rejecting Influence, do you get a potential?

A post earlier was talking about an additional way to buff spells, and the comment section was a resounding "what are you giving martials?". Particularly out of combat. So i figured id mention some variety i give them.
Quiet Destruction. Unless they are specifically trying to be loud, i let all martials quietly destroy anything they can damage to the point of destruction. This is free if they spend an extra minute, or the weapon mod's ability score (stealth) roll for same amount of time. This couples with me allowing any weapon to downgrade their damage die size by 1 to use another type of damage their weapon could do (like Bludgeoning using a sword for a pommel strike). So they have a lot of ways to quietly destroy things.
Expanded Helping options. While its great to mainly let martials do physical feats, i find having them be able to chip in for helping everyone else balances out the variety given by spellcasting. If a barbarian is holding up a boulder, the fighter can roll to help out. If a caster's spell has a roll for them or a save by a target, any martial can roll to add a bonus/effect the DC by (for example) doing the chalk outline as guided by the wizard with a perfectly steady hand, using their knowledge of how things move to help place the spell, distracting the target while the enchantment takes hold, etc. In most out of combat situations, I'll let a martial come in to help out.
Gauntlets/Skill Challenges. I run a lot of gauntlets and skill challenges during exploration. Everyone participates in these, but martials can essentially do it resource-free. If they do spend resources, its nearly guaranteed to be an automatic success, whereas spellcasters only get bonuses for spell slots used unless its their highest level one
What sort of stuff do yall do to expand martial options outside of combat?
I run a lot of ttrpgs. I'm looking to commission 2 different pieces of art, both multi-character pieces with backgrounds. I'd want their attitude to be captured in their posture, and i have reference art for all of them.
The first one would be 4 fantasy characters (DnD). On a floating island with 3 moons (a red, blue, and gold one), and the edges of the image having a sort of broken glass/glitchy look to it.
The second would be 14 characters, various styles but largely superhero types. Highly stylized would be cool but not necessary. Any sort of urban background works.
Ideally i spend around $700, but thats negotiable. Especially for higher levels of detail or a really cool aesthetic.
[I am currently at work, responses may be slow, but ill try to reply to everyone even if it's just a no]
Its my first time running this game soon. Im familiar with PbtA through Masks and Avatar Legends, so its not all completely foreign, and ive got a good group. But if anyone has any advice for actually running the game, quirks of the system, or other rhings like that id appreciate a heads up. Shooting for a 20ish session campaign if that matters, picking the setting and choosing playbooks to be done soon
3 bagels from Panera Bread. Multigrain was so thin and papery i couldnt cut it without it turning to sawdust, and yeah "multigrain" is technically accurate because there was 7 whole grains on there. The Cinnamon Crunch did not have the cinnamon *or* the crunch part, it was just sticky. Oh, and the blueberry bagel isnt in the picture because i took one bite and the blueberries were clearly expired, that one got throw right away. Also, nearly 5 bucks for a small tub of cream cheese that i couldnt use because i couldnt cut their bagels with the tiny, flimsy plastic knife.
My first time in a Panera since high school, figured it would be a fun pre-work breakfast. Instead i get to go through my work day off of 1 bag of salt and vinegar chips -_-
Edit to add: I have been made aware theyre called bagel flats, i didnt know that and it wasnt labeled on the menu. They can apparently cut them and/or toast them for you, but i didnt know i had to ask for that. Also, the major complaint was the sawdust consistency and the expired ingredients, not the shape.
