Hi everyone. This weekend I’m going to look at a 2014 XC70 3.2 to potentially replace my aging 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee. At least once a year I go on a weeklong camping trip at Cape Lookout NC and need a vehicle that can handle driving on the sand there. I’m not entirely sure if a XC70 is a good fit for this or if another vehicle would be a better idea. Also would be extremely thankful for any advice on stuff to look out for while inspecting the car.

Hi everyone, the weekend after Memorial Day I’m looking at buying a car out of Virginia. If I plan on driving the car on the 5 hour trip back home how do I get the proper transportation permit/temp tag. I checked the Virginia DMV website and it just said “for Virginia residents” and there wasn’t anything when I looked for information from the NC DMV. Worst case scenario I can always get a U-Haul but I’d prefer driving the car.
