I recently bought SE2 and im wondering, does the center of mass actually matter now ?

I was making a miner in creative and afterward tried out a miner from the workshop called the "DSI TITAN" but it looked like he was very front heavy, could not hover in gravity and if i went up I would have the ass go up and the head lag behind

Id like to point out that the miner is build with the drills on a piston at the front so maybe some clang is happening here

Now that the brigand has been out for almost two years how do most people feel about it ?

Was it a fair addition serving its niche or just another nail in the coffin of the warden tankline ?

As it stand the gallagher chassis can be considered to be…"less competitive" than the opposing 85k chassis, or the falchion/spatha/talos group

Apart from the spatha, all the 85k tanks have more health and more armor

[*3,6k Hp for the falchion and 12,7k armor / 3,6k health and 10,5k armor for the spatha / 4k health and 13,5k armor for the talos*]

[*2950 Hp and 11k armor across all gallagher tanks*]

*This is without going in the detail of the collie tanks being cheaper and produced in greater numbers in MPFs as a full queue of Gallas is 5 crates of 3 = 15 against the 5 crates of 5 = 25 of the collonials*

talos has even more health and armor allowing it to go face to face with silverhands and even BTs with numerical advantage

Meanwhile the gallagher is…here, its certainly not the bad as a tank, but they sometimes feel like they are just bigger Devitts

The brigand is on paper a rather solid tank, a 30mm with a 40m range and a clip of 3 shells that can be fired with a 0.8s delay, so a 1200 burst of damage, is it effective ? Well kinda, but its still 30mm and because to the tankline "meta" for tank combat due to how the game works a rapid fire clip means that you need to stay in range longer thus exposing you longer

*smaller detail : the MG on the roof which forces the commander to be exposed and prevents him from using binoculars*

This is the reason why the outlaw remains preffered in my opinion, its higher range allowing it to fight the spatha on equal grounds and his higher damage of the 40mm.

But, a smaller factor that is sometime forgoten, the availability of the 30mm, in the game only three tanks use 30mm, the king gallent, the 30mm tankete and the brigand, meanwhile the 40mm is used by light tanks, medium tanks, push guns and the silverhands, the 30mm is a rare thing in late war fronts

Colonials have the field gun meaning some demand will always be here but on the warden side its frequently a "why would you use the brigand ? Use the outlaw instead" which leads to a larger focus on 40mm

————-conclusion————-

Was the addition of the brigand a new vehicle that serves a purpose

Or was it just a nerf to the gallagher as it was (in effect) a spatha straight out the box without needing upgrades

For the record, i tried to make this post as non biased as possible, and this is an honest question as I aim to better understand the feelings of the community about this vehicle, both warden players and collonials
