320mm SunStar discs finally installed!

Went pretty smoothly. Took roughly 90 minutes. Only issue was the paddock stand on the front, the frame of it was blocking the axle from coming out (did not see that coming) so had to place some makeshift blocks under the fork legs and lift it onto them. After that it was pretty smooth sailing. Just have to be careful not to damage the ABS sensor or scrape the calipers against the rims.

For anyone wanting to do this apparently all these rotors for these models are compatible: V-MAX (2009-2017), YZF-R1 (2004-2006/2015-2025), YZF-R1M (2015-2025), MT-10/SP (2017-2022), FZ1/N/S/FAZER (2007-2015), YZF-R6 (2017-2022). "Apparently".

You'll need some M10 x 80mm 1.25 pitch bolts for the calipers then some M10 x 11mm thick (I went 11mm but 12mm is probably more ideal) spacers. I believe they're 24-25mm wide. Obviously, some Loctite for when you reinstall the rotor and caliper bolts.

This was more for looks than anything, but it'll be interesting to see if there's some actual performance increase. It's not like I'm taking the bike on the track, but we do have some pretty fast and braking heavy roads here.

I think they came out pretty sweet.

They're......beauuuutiful.

Just had some Sunstar 320mm rotors arrive from Japan and wow they're gorgeous. Secondhand obviously. I checked out Sunstar's site and not even sure how you purchase new discs? Are they made to order?

I'll be installing them possibly next week on my 60th Anniversary gen one. They'll look perfect with that colour scheme.

Thickest front rotor with stock front caliper?

Am I correct in saying the stock front caliper on the XSR (first gen) can accept a 5.5mm disc? I see there's a few manufacturers with 5.5mm thick discs available but just want to make sure...

Hell of a pic.

Ain't no way BSD was escaping this. Hopefully he finally learns from this one.

High creatinine levels?

Anyone else have creatinine levels that are beyond the upper normal limit? Today's blood test has come back with a 116umol/L (60-110) H. My GP has asked for me to make an appointment to come in and discuss these results.

I've had high readings since I began lifting over two decades ago. From what I've read online, high creatinine is common in people who weight train. Should I be concerned or is this just how it is? Anyone have any input?

First ride with both my brothers. Had a blast!

After nearly two decades of my younger brother and I riding bikes on the street our older brother finally got himself a ride (the KTM) and we spent the Sunday riding together. Perfect day for it too albeit a tad chilly. Here's to many more.

Anyone else have siblings they ride with?

ODI Lock-On grips V2 question...

A pretty straightforward question for those who've used the Lock-Ons before. The cams, can they be orientated a possible eight ways on the end of the throttle tube since it's just an octagonal opening? Unlike the Domino D-Lock's which have a specific three-notch shape meaning they can literally go one way?

Thanks

This seems to be a recent bug I've noticed, possibly only affecting Pathfinder (or maybe it's because I main him). I did see it happen to Cau7ioN in a recent vid too. You can seem me look and grab the zip from below then it jumps to another zip a couple of meters away.
