I've been approached to host/dj a Funk night. Does anyone spin funk tracks and have a sound system they'd recommend for a small/medium size place, and possibly some other party gigs? Thank you in advance!

Obviously cities provide a larger dating pool, but I have found that dating definitely depends on where you are located. I've lived in a number of places and found that for my vibe/aesthetic that certain cities are much much better suited for a person like me in the dating scene. No only do I find more people that I'm interested in, but get way more matches, and have such a better time with the whole dating experience.

Recently was in St. Pete/Sarasota area and was amazed by the number women on the apps there that I would be interested in going out with and was getting matches right away. Where I'm from is a similar size area/population and its like a dating desert. While people seem cool, don't really find anyone my type. Barely get matches.

What do you yall think are the reasons for this? Culture, vibes, interests, climate? It really makes me curious. I feel like I maybe need to move somewhere else, but I really like my area. Do people do long-distance at our age?
