Do trends marketed as women’s empowerment actually empower women, or do they mostly encourage buying more things under the language of empowerment?

Plastic is a big part of our environmental problems. Plastic bags (vegan leather) usually last 5 years until they start to spoil. So they will then end up in a landfill and the person would buy another one. While real leather can last over 20 years. So how is vegan leather truly the ethical choice?

Edit: I did research cause people are saying “vegan leather can be made of other things”
Majority of the vegan leather sold is plastic.

So the chances that your vegan leather is made by other things is slim, unless the company specifically says so

Melanie was always going to go back to Sincere. She was asking Sincere to “fix it” not break up! She was never going to end it! Stop blaming Aniya, Kayda, and Trinity for her actions!

Why do fans do this every year?!! Why are people trying to divide these girls who clearly love each other but sending Aniya hate and saying Melanie to drop her as a friend? Previous seasons, we always pit the black girls against each other and it has ruined friendships. Please let’s not do it this year! These girls are friends and love each other!!! We shouldn’t try to use fan wars to destroy their friendship. We should support all of them.

And if you don’t want to support all of them, then just be quiet about it!!! Don’t start throwing shade at the girls you don’t support!!! Please don’t do it this year!!! It needs to stop!!

It's actually crazy, but across multiple social media platforms, it seems like non-black women are some of the biggest supporters of Aniya and have a lot of empathy for her, while other black women are sending her constant hate!! It's really sad to witness!!! I wonder why it is like that!

I think black women on Love Island should go into Casa Amor assuming that the black man they are coupled up will do them dirty…. so always bring someone back for protection!!

This KC and Aniya issue has shown me that we have a serious problem in the black community! A lot of older black women defend black men at the expense of black women. And I really want to understand why? KC is still getting defended by older black women who have been attacking Aniya since day 1. Why?
