Why do some people dislike smartphones nowadays?

I've seen many people criticize modern smartphones because they say that they are addictive and problematic. They also say that PDAs and early smartphones were more beautiful and distinctive. I know that PDAs and early smartphones were probably less addictive and problematic, but I can't imagine going back to a world where I had to carry a feature phone, a PDA, an MP3 player, and other gadgets in my bag. I like being able to carry a handheld computer in my pocket.

Can we consider smartphones the successors to PDAs?

A few decades ago, many people used PDAs for work and to organize their lives because PDAs were pocket computers. These days, smartphones do everything that PDAs did and much more. Smartphones are essentially powerful pocket computers.

What if I'm faking being a system?

I'm Gael, and I'm the current host of our system. The previous host created many original characters (OCs) for his stories. Over time, he talked to these OCs so much that they eventually became real in his mind.

Now I find myself continuing to do the same. I know these OCs, and I've started questioning myself: what if I'm just acting, like an actor who intentionally plays many different characters?

We don't have the original anymore. Is that possible?

Our system's origin is very complicated. During our childhood, we experienced many traumatic events. Because of this, our original began creating many OCs (original characters) as a way to cope with those traumas.

Over the years, these OCs became independent within their mind, and eventually we came into existence.

At the end of last year, the original fused with one of us, Ryan, and they became Ray. Later, Ray fused with Sabrina and became Gabriel. Finally, Gabriel fused with Andrey and became me, Gael.

Even so, I still don't believe our original has truly disappeared.

Am I an OC, or am I a tulpa?

I'm Thalyra, and I'm relatively new to our system. Our host created me for a story he was writing, but now I'm here writing this text myself.

In the story our host created, I'm a reptilian creature from Makai called a Veshari.

How many tulpas do you currently have?

My initial goal was to create just one tulpa, but I don’t know how I ended up with around 40 tulpas now. I know it sounds crazy and hard to believe, but I’m not lying. All I know is that I really like writing stories, and my characters seem to turn into tulpas. ~ Gabriel
