Howdy all!
How does light change color? If I shine a regular flashlight through a red filter red light comes out. Is that because the filter is only letting the light that is a red wavelength through?
What happens if that light is sent through another filter of a different color?
I just don’t understand how individual photons seem to be all possible wavelengths at once. My assumption is that I am wildly off base and do not at understand what’s going on lol

I’m on season 3 and every time Olivier is on screen he just chews it up! He says the most unhinged things but you can’t really fault him. He’s living his most authentic life and really has a unique teaching style. I like that he’s focused on teaching people how to be artists as an act of being rather than focusing on technique.
Other thoughts….
I do not love this show yet. I’m watching it because I, “should.” It hits all the marks of shows I like and I always hear how it has one of the best endings of all time. Sadly for me it’s been a slog. I really do enjoy the characters and the general tone of the show but I’m binging to finish at this point.

My grandfather Charles Boyer was Disneys first “Master Illustrator” and he painted many well known works over his legendary career. Today I share the unknown story behind one of his more iconic paintings.
This happened before I was born. The little girl pictured is my elder sister. The original idea for the piece was to have the little girl curtsy in front of the mirror with Snow White doing the same. Unfortunately, the cast members playing the dwarves came into the studio while my sister was present and when they took off their heads she completely freaked out! Poor thing, that must have been traumatic. So my mother and grandmother tried to console her and in the end it was decided to simply have her stand in front of the mirror.
