ADHD energy management for work and studying

Hi everyone! I often struggle to start things, especially because of what I think is an initial mental friction and the need to do everything perfectly. I end up never starting at all. I also think it happens because I project myself too far ahead. I think about everything that needs to be done instead of focusing only on the first step. When I do manage to start, especially if I find the topic interesting, I end up unable to stop. The problem is that after a few hours I feel completely exhausted, instead of managing my energy and reaching the end of the day in a more normal way.

Have you ever experienced something similar? How did you deal with it? Are there any apps, systems, or tools that helped you with this?

How do you manage study energy without burning out?

Hi everyone! Lately I’ve noticed that one of my biggest problems with studying is not the studying itself, but actually starting. I often feel blocked by the idea of having to do everything perfectly or by thinking too much about the whole workload ahead of me instead of just focusing on the first small step. The strange part is that when I finally start, especially if I enjoy the subject, I can study for hours without stopping. But then I end up mentally exhausted for the rest of the day. I’m trying to understand how other people manage this balance between getting started, staying focused, and avoiding burnout.

Have you experienced something similar? What helped you the most? Do you use any apps, systems, routines, or study methods for this?

Gestione energetica ADHD per il lavoro e lo studio

Ciao a tutti! Spesso mi ritrovo a fare fatica a iniziare le cose, soprattutto per quella che penso essere frizione mentale iniziale, necessità di fare tutto perfettamente, ritrovandomi a non cominciare mai. Penso sia dovuto anche al fatto che mi proietto troppo in avanti, pensando a tutto quello che c'è da fare e non al primo passo. Le volte che inizio, in particolare se trovo interessante l'argomento, finisco per non staccarmi più. Il problema nel fare questo è che mi ritrovo completamente esausto dopo qualche ora, invece di riuscire a gestirmi e arrivare "normalmente" a fine giornata.

Avete mai provato sensazioni simili? Come avete risolto? Esistono app o programmi su questo tema che usate? Grazie mille!
