Live on the UK app now. Just realised the Grounding one has bamboo stem for light exfoliation.
Edit to add: my order has been despatched already!
Can anyone advise on the best method to take weight out of the hair without using thinning scissors? I love my hairdresser but I think I need to bite the bullet and make an appointment for a consultation with a curly specialist.

I have thick shoulder length hair and a lot of it, it's quite coarse and prone to frizz. Probably 2c curls. I don't have a great routine but I do use CGM products. I've some wiry greys in there and am at the age when my hormones are starting to affect it, too.

I usually know when I'm due a haircut as it starts becoming quite unmanageable and takes a lot longer to wash. A few haircuts ago, my hairdresser took a lot of weight out with thinning scissors and in the following weeks, I realised it had ruined the curl pattern, so I did a little research and it seems that's not a great way to take weight out of curls. It started to come back and look better as it grew out.

I visited again a week or so ago and told her this and I think she did some layering underneath the top layers of hair but she also still used the thinning scissors a bit. It still feels pretty bulky and again, my curl pattern has gone to pot.
She's a great hairdresser and always tries but Im not sure she's best equipped to cut my curls (I've been going to her for years, before I started embracing my curls).

Any advice would be great and curly hairdressers in NW England if you know of any.

TY!

Just got this email about making it easier to close your Lush Wallet account, anyone else think that's a bit...odd?
Spotted on Vinted, there's a hot dog one too. Part of a pizza box gift set!
Edited to add this isn't Lush!
