Started the day with some donuts because why the hell not? Headed over to the local casino next door after a glazed and cold brew and some donuts for the road.
Normally I stick to the tables but figured I’d give the bubble craps machine a whirl. Bought in $100 and started off with a $50 don’t hopping 7s on the come out. Yo eleven. OK… Let’s place some numbers and try the light side. 10, 5, 10, 8, 2 and 7 out. Alrighty then. Stupid bubble craps. Onto the tables.
But first a quick pit stop at the Huff n Puff slot machine. Now I normally don’t play slots because I know it’s horrible but this machine was calling to me. Put in another $100, cracked my knuckles and started mashing the spin button. About 2 minutes later the credits were rinsed. Stupid slot machines. I should have never listed to those little pigs.
Now that the buzz from the coffee and donuts was gone, it was time to lock into some table craps. Casino had a $5, $10, $15 and $25 table going all at once which I don’t think I’ve even seen before. There were a few spots open at the $10 table so bought in for my remaining $300 there.
I’m a pretty basic player playing either $44 inside or just a $12 6 & 8 with $5, $5, $5 on the ATS (pays 34-1 for the Small/Tall and 175-1 for the All).
Started off pretty typical, no long rolls no PSOs shooters hitting a few numbers, maybe a point and then SO shortly after. Basically treading water. Then I start getting texts from the pregnant wife. “Where are you?” “I thought you were getting donuts?” “WHY AREN’T YOU HOME WITH THE DONUTS NOW?”
Knowing the wrath I’d face if I didn’t bring those donuts some soon, I start to count my chips and get ready for a color up. Shooter straight out gets the dice as I’m counting and he rolls a 7 winner. Also knowing this could be one of my last trips to the casino for a while, I toss the dealer three reds and three whites for a final 555 for me and 111 for the crew. Shooter then proceeds to knock out the Talls in literally the next 5 rolls. Bang. What took you so long? Press it a nickel make it look like $10 and dealers are on the Talls for $6. Go $44 inside. C’mon shooter.
Shooter rolls for about 5 more minutes before HITTING THE TALLS AGAIN. Hell yeah! He sevens out shortly after that but allowed me to make up for some pretty awful sessions before this one and head home with some extra cash and donuts for the wife.
Donuts and table craps for the win. In for $500, out for $1125 after tips to the crew and shooter. Stay away from the slots.
