I have eight proofs scanned and emailed, but they have yet to be approved, even two days later. Three of them never even gave me a return email confirming they were received.

There is also an old job that got signed as a non-serve two months ago that is suddenly back in my queue, telling me to wait for alternate serve.

All of this is way outside of the norm, in my experience. Is anyone else dealing with similar issues?

This is obviously terrible for obvious reasons, but at the same time: who cares?

Congressional contempt is famous for having absolutely no teeth. This is symbolically awful, and yet another sign of our crumbling democracy, but practically, it doesn't really do anything.

For those who may not know, that stands for Table Top Role Playing Game; Dungeons and Dragons, Daggerheart, Pathfinder, that kind of thing.

These games are designed to be played with a group. A Game Master, multiple players, a collaborative story and having fun with your friends.

But not only is solo play a thing, there's a somewhat sizable audience for it, to the point where multiple books and guides have been written on the subject. And I just don't get it.

I get if you're an introvert, I get if you have agoraphobia, or extreme social anxiety, but playing a game like D&D alone just seems... kinda sad. I would think that playing a video game would take a lot less effort and be a lot more fun.

The whole idea just escapes me. I tried the Raging River environment early on in my campaign, and one of my players, a Drakona/Faerie mix, just rolled well to fly the team over the river one at a time, completely bypassing the mechanic. I didn't have a problem with this, of course, I always appreciate creativity, but I just have no idea what to do with environments, generally.

I've been doing fine without them, but I feel I'm doing my players a disservice by not utilizing the full toolset.

That's it, just a little rant.

This administration is almost entirely harmful to this country, making it a much, much worse place, all to line the pockets of literally the most corrupt politician in the history of the United States.

However, I must admit, eliminating LNT/ALARA restrictions is a good thing, in all aspects. It was a bad policy when it was implemented in the '70s, and it's only gotten less and less relevant as time has gone on.

Good job, Donny; your owners finally told you to make a good call.

They are supportive of leaving a country in which you are unhappy, and moving to a place you think is better. Yet the vast majority demonizes those who move to America.

The hypocrisy is palpable.
