A little while ago I posted looking for fellow creatures of the night around Bristol. Since then, we’ve built a growing WhatsApp community and recently had our first roost - drinks were drunk, friendships were forged and nobody lost any organs.
So, the coffin lid is open again.
Goth, metalhead, punk, emo, industrial, generally spooky or simply interested in the darker side of life - you’re welcome. 🖤
We’re an inclusive 18+ bunch with pub meets, gigs, cemetery walks and other mildly suspicious gatherings planned.
No gatekeeping. No awkwardly approaching someone in a Sisters of Mercy shirt while strolling the Lidl middle aisle.

Salutations, fellow children of the night.
I've recently moved to Bristol and am thinking of starting a WhatsApp community for fellow bats looking to meet new people, attend gigs, grab a pint, head to club nights, and generally support Bristol's alternative scene.
The aim is to create a friendly, well-moderated space for anyone into goth, post-punk, industrial, metal, emo, punk, darkwave and the wider alternative scene. Whether you've been part of the scene for years or are just finding your place in it, you're welcome.
LGBTQ+ friendly, inclusive, and firmly against gatekeeping, bigotry or drama. Just good people, good music, and hopefully a few new friendships.
If there's enough interest, I'll get it set up and organise a first pub meet-up.
