I keep getting, “I can’t generate the image from here because image generation is unavailable in this region.”

It’s weird because it just finished an image for me. I VPN’d around the world (I’m in the US) and got the same for three different countries.

2026; what’s the Dash Cam app?

Looking through the installed apps I see one called Dash Cam. I’ve not installed anything yet, myself. Does anyone know what this might be?

Another one joining the family!

Bad lighting, I picked in an Aero Gray ‘26 this evening. We had some minor issues with the dealership, but overall I’m happy with it.

I know this is the CX-5 sub, but photo 3 is of a CX-50 on the showroom. I loved the look of that with those tires.

Another feedback request: Search and Rescue niche

I’m looking for feedback on both the site content and my updated newsletter format. The niche seems to be super nuanced, so I think I’m in a good position with what I’m providing. However, being so niche seems to be working against me, as my growth is VERY slow.

Any thoughts on growing something like this?

Goodby to my 2020 Pumpkin

I was hit last weekend by a guy who ran a stop sign doing 45. The hit spun me twice. The back left wheel is bent in, axle bowed, and frame bent. The week before just got a new windshield installed. [Taps is playing…]

Hey, r/Survival,

We wanted to take a moment to introduce two resources that exist specifically to serve the search and rescue community — and to invite you to check them out, get involved, or just bookmark them for later.

IASARC — International Association of Search and Rescue Coordinators

IASARC (https://iasarc.org) is a professional non-profit organization dedicated to supporting SAR coordinators, team leaders, and practitioners around the world. The mission is straightforward: connect SAR professionals (land, sea, and air), share best practices, and elevate the standards of search and rescue operations globally.

Whether you're a seasoned coordinator or newer to the field, IASARC offers a community of like-minded professionals who are passionate about doing this work well.

SAR Times — News & Information for the SAR Community

SAR Times (https://sartimes.com) is an online publication/newsletter (pushes on Thursdays) covering news, stories, and developments relevant to the search and rescue world. Think of it as your go-to source for staying current on what's happening across the SAR landscape — cases, policy, tech, training, and more.

We'd love to connect with the folks here. This subreddit has always been a great grassroots community, and we see a lot of overlap with what both of these organizations are trying to do.

Feel free to ask questions, share feedback, or just say hi. We're here to be a resource, not just a bulletin board.

Stay safe out there. 🧭
