Do You Ever Daydream About Your Collection Being Auctioned Off to Great Fanfare After You Die?

You know those collections on Whatnot, or Ebay or whatever. The seller has an an Avatar with your youthful obituary photo, and or a tagline of "The [RecordNerd123] Collection". The record store guy stating "this is one the best collections we've ever acquired. You won't believe the variety and condition". People reacting with awe when another jazz grail or 90s/early 00s OG drops. "He had that too?!?", "That one has an artfully intact Goodwill $.50 price sticker", "He must have been a cool guy. RIP."

Maybe our best chance for a fleeting moment of immortality with complete strangers. I mean I hope my kids keep and appreciate a good chunk of it, but even at 10/8 it's already looking bleak.

So, did anyone like the new lava cake

First bite I thought it was sugar cookie flavored. Then it's like someone whispered graham crackers into the batter. 4/10 won't buy again.

If I had only been one year older. . .

I graduated High School in 1998 and I had never communal showered in school although I kinda wanted to but felt weird showering with guys I had seen since middle school and many I didn't get along with. I was kinda looking forward to starting college at a fairly large university where no one knew me and I would finally get a chance to shower with other guys in the dorm every day.

And wouldn't you know to my luck they had just remodeled the bathrooms in the boys' dorm to have private showers. An RA I knew there had said they had just put up petitions with curtains that summer. If I had only been one year older I would've got to have the experience of dorm showers.

Luckily we had a pretty big rec center with open Bradley pole showers in the men's locker room, so that was pretty cool.
