I’ll be heading fic to fic to fic to fic, reading & reading one after another. And then I try to comment… & no matter what, I can never, & I mean never find anything to say. It could be the greatest fic of all time, & I still can’t put any words together. Either that or I can put words together, but it’s so short & barebones it either is spam or would probably end up hurting the author’s feelings so I just abandon the comment.

So, it’s been made clear that Nora would have preferred a robot that didn’t want to live like a human— to Nora, Jenny was supposed to only be a defense unit & would have been kept as no more than a defense unit hadn’t It Came From Next Door happened. Yet she was intentionally given the mind of a human teenager.
Here’s my theory: if Nora made Jenny not sentient, & therefore not have a human mind, Jenny might have lacked the intelligence to deal with advanced threats. As for why she’s a teenager: a kid would be too stupid & an adult would be too hard to have complete control over.

Really not much other than what the title says; I’ve seen a few other people posting about their own extensions to the series & just decided I might as well too.
In case you were wondering, the fic in question (see content warnings!) follows both Jenny & a new protagonist, Chris, after the chronological events of the show.
Blasting some good music while cruising down the highway.
I was probably going 4 times the speed limit… good thing there was no traffic!
Recently I had swapped out the supercharger for a turbocharger, upgraded the internals, & most importantly performed a transmission swap.
See that center console in the 2nd image? That ain’t stock.
Originally it had a 3-speed automatic transmission, with a column shifter. I had swapped that out for a 6-speed manual, & put in a manual console shifter. But, more recently, I put in a fully custom 6-speed automatic, & put in the automatic console shifter that’s visible in the image. I did modify the shifter however; the “Second” gear shown on it is actually Sport mode, & “First” is Manual mode. I also modified the shifter so I could actually use Manual mode; I downshift by pushing it inwards & upshift by pulling it outwards. This is only possible to do when I am in Manual mode.
I also removed the front splitter; it got too annoying. The front doesn’t need very much downforce anyway.
I also now have a hood & trunk reminiscent of the Homage model, which is why I still have the big spoiler behind the Homage spoiler. Along with the Nomi GTRX wing. I’m gonna be keeping the GTRX.
I also put in a new ECU that lets the engine go to 8000 revolutions per minute.
