It seems like it, but do we know for sure from a leak if Zankou is wearing panties in her redesign?

Or will it magically be boxers under this? Cuz u just never know with these chinese games lmao

One of the "hardest" minigames ever in a gacha game

Thx for the morning wood, mongil devs 😂

Seriously tho, this summer event is peak af.

NTE might have the strongest 1.2 patch out of every major open world gacha...

TOTAL target audience victory!!!!!!

Tons of new skins and like 99% of them are for the waifus! The skins that aren't for waifus are for the male MC, and they actually look good because they arent revealing like the female characters skins and they dont reduce him into looking like a twink.

Iroi is soooo cute and funny 😭, ABSOLUTELY BASED skin that she is gonna get. Maybe we really are gonna reach Tower of Fantasy levels of peak fanservice. This live stream made me so much more hopeful of that than i was expecting. Our wallets wont be pleased but we definitely will, amirite? 😏

And this is supposed to be a "filler patch" too lmao

Unrelated to NTE but related to gacha games in general, so kinda related? Very important topic imo

I will not make another post about this topic, but because theres literally nowhere else that i know of on reddit where i can, i chose to put it here. I do believe this is a valuable subject for us, so I encourage the mods (idk if theres still one or if its multiple lol) to please read the entirety. I also wanna make it crystal clear that i am not encouraging anyone to "brigade" or start issues with any other sub or any other person or anything bad like that. Just wanna have a friendly discussion right here under this post, whether it just lasts today or for a week or for a month. If theres a problem, the mods can just copy and paste my post and repurpose it into a thread or whatever. Idc, this discussion must be had one way or another.

I assume alot of us here are not just into nte but several other gacha games. I expect most ppl dont know me since i almost never post lmao and thats fine, but the reason i came here was because i got sick and tired of the tourist flood in the official sub. Since coming here, the community experience has been a million times better. Its not super active (and it doesnt have to be), but we're all chill and we dont have an issue with different opinions because we're generally on the same page, and thats an extremely appealing online fan environment in my eyes. So I wanna say thank you for that to all my bros over here.

Now heres where it gets a bit unrelated, so i hope the post does not get removed because this is still an important topic for people like us who are the target audience of these games. There is Ananta, which will be in the same space as nte. There is Silver Palace, which is more of a victorian detective style open world gacha. Neither of these games are out yet and the latter's official sub isnt too populated, but both of these communities are ALREADY flooded with tourists. I'm not a social media creator or anything like that, but the reason for this post was to suggest anyone here that might be interested in creating a sub like this for those games. And a sub for any other upcoming gacha games that are so obviously made for ppl like us of course. I think its vital that subs get created for us in advance because when official communities get created, they are almost instantly taken over by tourists and they get popular super fast because of the "official" tag, so it becomes discouraging to wanna create a community when it'll barely even grab like 200 ppl. I've also noticed that tourists are allergic to the term "target audience" so if that is placed in the description and/or rules of a sub, its almost like an automatic filter.

Are there any other upcoming gachas for waifu harem enjoyers like us btw? Idk how many responses this post will get, but hopefully we can get a nice discussion going about all this and get some potential solutions. Ik for a fact i'm not the only one thinking about this. Because it really is so bad that even when i'm in the zzz leaks or wuwa leaks subs, tourists come after me. Sorry about the length btw. I was gonna add a quick and juicy gif, but its from a different gacha, so i chose not to. If anyone wants to see it, i'll reply it in the comments tho lol.

With Snowbreak seemingly on its way out, Chasing Kaleidorider is on its way in

Ik there are some ppl that always feel the need to express their h8 for gacha, so lets get it outta the way that if ur one of those, this post isnt for u. As for the rest of us, we already know the situation with snowbreak and its current lack of communication and neutering of the game, which has led to its worst performing month ever. I'd like to imagine the devs for this game will learn from seasun's mistakes and avoid flying too close to the sun with things like secret decensor toggles or partnerships with agencies close to the govt. Point is that heres another master love game thats meant to service straight men, just like LaDS services straight women. It unfortunately seems like it doesnt have as much traction as it should, considering theres definitely a big audience for it, so thats why i'm sharing it here for ppl who dont know about it. Looked thru the comments and theres alot of excitement for it, but at the same time theres some obvious hypocritical LaDS tourists that have ALREADY made their way to start attacking the target audience lmfao. Anyway, since this is a game that is uncompromisingly for straight men (no dual mc slop and pro harem), i plan to support it from day one. Even tho the gameplay prolly wont be too exciting, i'd much rather give my money to devs that filter tourists right from the getgo like this. And then we can hope for a competitor in the future that brings better gameplay. But i refuse to let a game with such promising content fade away in a world where LaDS earns billions and western wokeslop like gow laundry will sell millions 😂

Stellar Blade Blood Rain was easily the Summer Game Fest highlight imo

What does everyone else think? Seems like its taking everything from the og and upgrading it which is exactly what i think all of us wanted. Still in early dev supposedly but it looked damn good. Simultaneous ps5 + pc launch this time means cultured mods from day 1 too lmao

Just found this sub and it actually does seem based!???

Really sick and tired of main subs for all these gacha games being run by tourists. Idk how tf they even manage to take over so fast every single time lmao. Can't even come on for a brief moment to chill and be a little silly without having a post/comment removed, its actually insane. Anyway, good luck to everyone on their tomato waifu pulls btw!

The biggest problem with us is our passivity and excessive openmindedness imo

This is just some scattered thoughts i ended up having while watching todays neverness to everness livestream and thinking about gaming news (mostly gacha cuz its the most open to tourists) and animanga (mostly cuz of the recent kei urana post), so sorry if its all over the place and sorry for those who personally dont care about these things. But this is like the only place i've heard of on reddit where certain things can be talked about freely without getting bnned? So here goes nothing.

I do wanna start with the nte stream cuz i think it shouldve been a rude awakening for ppl who actually thought china was gonna be based to balance out the modern west. As we know, the chinese govt is stated to be against the L****+ agenda and we've seen a consistent precedent where all major games from there would either showcase straight relationships or avoid clear cut romance via subtle hints, rely on the audience to make up their mind or nothing at all. Not anymore it seems. With the next nte update, players who use male mc can now hold hands with other male characters. [IMPORTANT EDIT: a reply has corrected me big time on this and i apologize for my mistake. As of the actual livestream, theres no male mc handholding with male characters thankfully BUT i still think we must be careful and let them know it advance that they'll lose our business if they even seriously consider it] And this is the same game where the devs are scared to give the female characters real pantsu and completely hides the model when u try to look at them from below btw. Not to mention in this same stream, they revealed a redesign of a character called zankou... in which she is kinda censored lol. We also know about the snowbreak situation and how love and deepspace gets away with the same kinda content cuz its made for females. So even this country that outwardly states it'd like to preserve traditional norms, avoid poisoning their population yada yada is more than comfortable with promoting the exact opposite of what it says. If u were witnessing the live chat of the global nte stream, u would've seen it filled with a celebration of yaoi, a celebration of the upcoming male character and a mix of apathy and negativity towards the upcoming female character. To briefly stick to the subject of gacha games a lil bit longer, look at how the recent reveal of honkai star rails gilgamesh design went (a male character with a completely exposed torso) when compared to the leak of sandrone's new design from genshin (all she has is a shortened skirt on the frontside). There is another upcoming chinese game called ananta, and it was recently revealed that they are targeting a "wider audience." We can prolly sit here all day if i continue with examples, so i wanna end this section soon by saying an important thing: the chinese govt is yet another enemy of straight men + as they allow their game developers to be more relaxed in serving other *minority audiences in the gaming space* for extra chump change, we should expect those devs to eventually fall the way modern western ones have. Mark my words, u wont see them follow how western devs devolved into pushing "the message" with 0 subtlety, but they will sneakily include those kinds of elements in their games in order to score points with such outsiders and even urinalists + ppl who call themselves "based" will eat it up and say "well at least it isnt being forced down my throat."

As an addendum to this section, i need to say that when it comes to gacha games in particular, developers send players in game surveys every single update where they can provide feedback. These games are f2p, so any of these tourists can easily access them to send devs their desires. While most of the target audience sends minimal feedback to the devs, these invasive outsiders go nuts with their "feedback." Im curious as to what ppl here might consider a solution for this. Some things i thought of was: a. warning the devs in advance that if they add undesirable elements or cater to an audience that doesnt align with ours, we will stop giving them money, b. complaining about lolcowlizers with their poor translations and telling them to cancel english dub cuz of poor performances + personal politics of certain voice actors, c. telling them to reduce or outright remove playable male chars and remove female mc, d. asking for more sexy female characters and asking for them to wear real pantsu. The point imo is to give not only feedback that improves the gameplay experience or technical performance, but lets the devs know what the actual ppl who spend money want in terms of fanservice and things that should be avoided cuz it will lessen the enjoyment of the target audience. Because its totally meaningless to complain about a product when it is too late to do so.

////////////////

To move onto manga, has anyone here seen the kagurabachi sub? This is a shonen manga thats primed to be the next biggest hit cuz of its phenomenonal action and mature story. It has like no focus on romance and when it rarely does, its always straight. Yet the community is filled with yaoi shippers. The main villain is phenomenal, but ppl who even slightly praise him or try to understand where he's coming from are called by the last name of the most infamous german ruler. Whenever theres fanart of female characters showing them looking attractive, theres always pushback about oversexualization, unrealistic or inaccurate proportions, u know the usual (sth to keep in mind is that the author has never drawn any of the female chars in a sexy way + admitted to being bad at drawing females). The community is also filled with "h00dweeb" (idk if theres another term for this, so i just had to use it to get the point across btw) discussions or comedy. Now i understand this is reddit and the internet, but how is it that ppl like us who genuinely enjoy these kinds of works and dont have dumb "criticisms" about normal things in the medium tend to get outnumbered like this so quickly and aggressively? This has gotten too long but we can add obscure anime from this season like yowayowa sensei and barbarian's bride to the same topic. Hot girls and unconventional straight relationships are evil, enjoying fictional characters that dont align with real world morals is evil.

//////////////

If every other group gets to gatekeep their own enjoyment, then why cant we? Look at how the love and deepspace fanbase aggressively went after outsiders and now have a reputation of being "h*m*phobic" lol. They were not afraid to be called a little name. Alot of us grew up being called nerds, weirdos, but at least we got to enjoy what was made for us amongst eachother and in peace. Now everyone wants to play diplomat or sth and as a result, we cant even talk about what we want to in the way we want to without being policed or creators getting the wrong idea about what we want in our products cuz of a loud minority. The only ppl that deserve to be treated with respect and kindness are the ones that show us the same. We shouldnt have to explain ourselves, we shouldnt have to let ppl in who wanna change what was made for us to suit them etc. To hell with coexistence with those that have no desire to coexist with us and would rather coopt us. All those reports calling us violent or incels or any other name under the sun, fuck it. I'll gladly wear those meaningless and false labels if it means i can actually chill out with likeminded ppl instead of having to dive thru an ocean of tourists just to find one comrade. I just wanted to make this post in the hopes of getting some replies with good solutions for us to reverse this situation where we cant have any space for ourselves. Ik theres alot more at play in terms of why companies do certain things and all that, but im curios about every possible step that we can take as straight men who dont wanna give an inch to the opposition that hates us anymore.

Stranger than heaven theme song = most impactful game trailer music ever?

A thought i had cuz 2 friends of mine that never showed interest in japanese games mentioned the trailer to me on their own lol. I cant even rememer a trailer song for a game having this much of an effect in the past 10, maybe even 20 yrs?? The fact that this song is such a banger + goes so well with the trailer visuals + beautifully tells the story of makoto all at the same time seems to be having a very strong effect on ppl everywhere. Whoever the genius that brought titans of the east and west in ado and snoop must be proud af, and i wonder if we'll find out who planned that in the future. DAY 1 🔥
