Hey, thinking about going to the festival but I’m wondering if they’ll play their usual number of songs or do a shorter setlist because it’s a festival.

Finally played Code Veronica few days ago after the announcement despite all the shit talking I heard. Genuinely one of my favorite resident evil games. Made me really really love Chris, Claire, and Wesker a ton more as characters. Just pure genuine fun and I really don’t get all the things people say against it. The backtracking isn’t even terrible and usually isn’t even unfair or long (the games areas are amazing). There really wasn’t any sort of puzzles or parts that felt confusing or had me lost. There was so much ammo and health that I never really felt at a disadvantage past the initial beginning (idk how crazy this is but during the last area as Chris, I had something like 400 pistol ammo?). I honestly didn’t even get the whole soft lock bit because I never even used the magnum. The cheesiness was genuinely some of the most fun I’ve ever had with a resident evil story. I hope that the remake can keep the story somewhat faithful and just as crazy as the original. It’s so much fun and really hammered in my love for the original games. I really love tank controls and the thinking/planning that goes into min maxing of supplies/puzzles/areas in the map. I think it deserves to get the same praise that the first three do. It’s definitely in my top four favorites of the franchise.

I will also add that the soundtrack is easily the best In the series. Holy shit.

I encourage people to learn how to dodge, bait, and avoid enemies in large areas. It adds a lot of fun to the original games in my opinion!

Just saw the movie at Angelika, pretty good! But as soon as the QnA started they announced that he’s not coming??? Fuck off. They know 100% that if they actually announced this before that almost everyone would’ve refunded and they straight up scammed everyone. That and also seeing his wife’s post an hour ago about being out and about in nyc and not showing up for what a ton of people paid for makes me so sad and feel totally robbed. After experiencing this and hearing about how terrible the event was yesterday, this feels more like a swindle than a celebration. Hopefully he actually shows up to other screenings.
