Are the battery issues for iPhone 16PM on IOS 26 finally fixed?
Can I update now? I'm still on ios 18.

I'm starting my medical residency in Ontario, Canada and needed to get myself a car.
I'm planning to drive short distances around the city with occasional 4-5 hour drives home.
Car is a used 2016 Mazda CX5 grand touring AWD with 158,000 km for ~$16,000 OTD.
No accidents, clean Carfax history with ~30 service records.
Planning to take it for pre-purchase inspection tomorrow.
If all is good, is there anything else I should consider before I buy?
For context, I live in Ontario (GTA region) and need a car before I start my medical residency in July. I was looking for a used SUV to get me through at least the next 5-7 years of Canadian winters. I don't know shit about cars and went to go see this 2015 Mazda CX-5 GX (116k km) today.
Here's what I was quoted:
- $13999 for the car
- $800 for safety certification
- $150 admin fee
- $1000 for warranty
Total price out the door (with tax) is $18k CAD.
Carfax shows no accidents and regular oil changes. I went for a test drive with my dad today who noticed that the rear bearing may be making a noise but I plan on doing a pre-purchase inspection with a mechanic to check for any issues before I buy. The dealer said they would cover any work that needs to be done on the car to pass safety certification...
Is it worth to proceed with this car? Please help as I have never bought a car before and am finding the whole process very overwhelming.
I finished school recently (Ontario, Canada) and was told by NSLSC that I would have a 6-month grace period after my end-of-study date before needing to make repayments on my federal student loan.
However, because I maxed out my OSAP weeks, NSLSC said there were “system limitations” preventing them from updating the end-of-study date properly on my federal loan account. They specifically told me to disregard any messages about missed payments because my payments were deferred for 6 months (grace period).
Despite this, my credit score just dropped significantly because missed payments were reported to the credit bureaus.
I called NSLSC again and they acknowledged that my payments are deferred for 6 months and said they would contact the credit bureaus to correct the reporting. They also told me not to make any payments while they sort this out.
I’m extremely stressed because I’m worried another missed payment could be reported while this is being investigated, and I'm having trouble trusting the guidance I'm being given after being told I was in a grace period while simultaneously being reported delinquent.
Has anyone dealt with this before? How long does it take for the credit bureau correction to happen? Should I continue making payments anyway just to protect my credit, or follow NSLSC’s instructions not to pay?
