Hi I bought replacement buttons for my Xbox ally left hand back button because it’s worn out and only responds if you press heavily. However I found that the button doesn’t have a large pad under each of the buttons legs. This leads me to believe that the button might be somehow more deeply implanted into the board. Is this button easily replaceable or does it look like they went out of their way to secure it which would make it difficult to replace with soldering iron/ reflow heat gun?
Thanks.
Hi I bought a used Xbox ally and the left hand rear button does not work when you click it audible and only works if you deep press it. Buying the whole board part is too expensive so I’m looking to decoder and replace the button. Does anyone know which button height? 1.5mm appears to be the standard one.
I just found this on AliExpress: | Metal Tactical Push Button Switch,Tact Switch,5.2x5.2x1.5mm to 9mm 4PIN SMT,Key Switch Speaker Audio button,PER 50PCS

Anyone else have the same experience? I tried multiple devices and different internet connections and family accounts too.
