Anyone using Strong8K with Surfshark after the recent VPN changes?

Is anyone else having issues with Strong8K and Surfshark at the moment?

For multiple weeks I've been getting error 511 in TiviMate on most Surfshark locations. At first I could usually find a server that still worked, and Mexico was the last reliable one for me, but now that has stopped working too.

I've seen the recent posts about Strong8K introducing VPN-specific domains and "My VPN Apps", so I'm wondering if that is now required for Surfshark users. I've tried contacting my seller several times over the past few weeks to ask whether I need a different VPN-specific domain, but I haven't been able to get an answer, so I'm a bit stuck on what to try next.

At the same time, I'm not sure if the problem is actually Strong8K, Surfshark, or a combination of both. Has anyone here had the same issue and managed to fix it? I'm especially curious if using a VPN-specific domain solved the 511 errors, or if Surfshark itself has just become unreliable with Strong8K lately.

I'm in Denmark and using TiviMate and Surfshark on Google TV. At the moment I can't get it working on any Surfshark location I've tried.

16-year-old Nene Royal is going viral for her guitar and rock vocals — her cover of Adele's “Skyfall” shows just how talented a vocalist she is

I've seen 16 year old Nene Royal (who received the golden buzzer on AGT) getting a lot of attention lately for her amazing guitar skills, rock/metal vocals and stage presence, but I came across this performance of her singing Adele's “Skyfall” and thought it really showed just how much vocal range and versatility she has.

And don't get me wrong - I absolutely love the rock & roll direction she's going in and definitely don't want her to move away from it. I just think it's really cool to hear her take on something completely different and show another side of what she can do as a vocalist.

What makes it even more impressive to me is that this is just someone recording her live on a phone at a night market in Thailand - not a professional recording or TV sound setup. So the audio we're hearing can't really capture what she would have sounded like in person, or how her voice could come across with a proper professional recording setup like on AGT.

What type of blackout window treatment would look best here?

I’m slowly furnishing this bedroom, and the first thing I need to sort out is the window. Please ignore the rest of the room for now. I know it’s still very bare.

The current pleated blind came with the apartment, but it lets in far too much light during summer mornings.

I usually prefer floor-length curtains, but I’m not sure they would work well here. The window is fairly small and deeply recessed, the radiator sticks out directly below it, and there is limited space between the bed and the radiator/wall. What do you think?

What would you choose, both aesthetically and practically: floor-length curtains, shorter curtains ending just above the radiator, an outside-mounted Roman or roller blind, or something else? Where and how would you mount it?

My instinct is that any new window treatment should be mounted outside the recess, since the window opens inward and anything installed inside the recess could interfere with opening it.

Blackout is important, but I’d also like the window to look properly finished rather than purely functional.

Are these older banknotes still accepted in shops?

Hola.

Hi. I live in Denmark and have some older Colombian 20,000 and 50,000 peso banknotes, like the ones shown in the photos. I have had them since I travelled to Colombia in 2017.

I have searched for information and, as far as I understand, they still appear to be valid and accepted by Banco de la República. However, these older designs are gradually disappearing from circulation, so I am unsure whether they are still commonly accepted in supermarkets, restaurants and other businesses, or whether they can only be exchanged easily at a bank in practice.

My uncertainty arose because currency exchanges in Denmark will not accept this older series. I also cannot send them by letter because the postal services available to me do not permit cash in letters. Sending them as a compliant international tracked parcel would be disproportionately expensive for such a small amount.

I am therefore only considering selling them in person, at a discount, to someone in Denmark who will soon be travelling to Colombia. I am not looking to mail them abroad. Before selling them, I want to make sure the person can use them without too much difficulty, which is the reason why I am posting this.

Unfortunately, I have forgotten almost all the Spanish I learned during my trip, so the Spanish text was translated with AI assistance. Apologies for any errors or strange wording.

Apologies if this type of post is not allowed. Thank you!

Edit: Several people suggested these older notes might be worth more than face value to collectors, so I've uploaded photos of the actual notes:

https://imgur.com/a/fkJ4CVO

Do any of these have any collector premium, or are they simply ordinary circulated notes? If any stand out because of the year, signatures, serial numbers or condition, I'd really appreciate your thoughts.
