"A Virtual Murder" (s10 e5) location <3

I recently watched this episode again and was mesmerized by the lovely architecture of their "office building". I was so drawn in imagining where it was, what the people do there and what cool jobs people did there. I love buildings from the late 70's and 80's. I really thought people had some seriously high tech jobs there! This one is actually a water treatment facility called the Tillman Water Reclamation Plant in Van Nuys, CA. The portion shown above (image from Wikipedia) is The Japanese Garden designed by Koichi Kawana to make the plant more attractive to the public and opened in 1984. It has since had a short list of appearances in media which of course included "Murder, She Wrote".

Poppi is Poopi?

I work retail and we stock multiple flavors. We've had cases of the crap sitting in the back since we got it a few months ago. Not convinced people even know what it is. Is it moving? Is Pepsi bad at marketing? That is one area where I've always thougj Coca-Cola was superior--marketing. Is Poppi a fad? Is it Poopi? I've only tried the orange and sorry to say it was fucking disgusting. It wasn't like I just didn't like it,it honestly tasted really bad. Perhaps there is a market for prebiotic soda. There is an already established market for these products but soda? Not so sure. What do you guys think?

"Proof in the Pudding" (s10e12) was terrible!

John Saxon as the chef Bernardo Bonelli is difficult to watch. Not only is his character written as an incredibly pompous and condescending man, his Italian accent is horrendous. The clincher is that he is yelling in a seemingly endless fashion. I felt like yelling back "I CAN HEAR YOU!!!".

At a certain point, I kind of started looking at the time and asking myself "well, is anyone going to get murdered or what?". No one got murdered until the 30 minute mark. She solves the murder and has her "aha!" moment in about 5 minutes after that. This episode quickly got slapped on to my "never watch again" list! J.B. is good as usual but it felt more like she was a passenger and not the driver in this one. 😞

"Night of the Coyote" S9 E6

What a refreshing episode. Graham Greene as a competent sheriff played by really was a nice break. It's nice not to have a police officer that's either shouting, ridiculously incredulous or an utter dope. Definitely one of my favorites now. I wish there were more like it. Any others with what you'd consider solid police work?

Like many others, the Smiths say grace before breaking bread on Thanksgiving. Mr. Smith directs them to hold hands and begins by addressing his son. "Johnny, the years have passed so quickly and you're practically a man now. I'd be honored if you say grace this year." Johnny, feeling overwhelmed with pride says "Thanks dad. I won't let you down." Then, there's a brief pause as Johnny closes his eyes and begins. "I got an idea that I overheard from mom about how to say grace so let's give it a shot." He says "Dear God....Oh God....Oh God...Ohhhh God! Oh God! Oh God oh god oh! Oh oh!!! Godddddddddddddddddd!!!!!".
