Stuck at 10mbps even with wired Cat8 cable...

EDIT: SIMPLY A BAD CABLE. NEW CABLE SOLVED THE ISSUE. 1000Mbps now!

I'm struggling with getting my Shield setup. Currently I have it hardwired with this Cat8 cable:

My setup is as follows: Tmobile 5G gateway --> TP-Link Deco M9 plus --> TP-Link TL-SG105 switch --> Shield via 30ft Monoprice Cat8 Ethernet Cable

What am I doing wrong?

Here's a fun one: Why in the world would my 12 year old poodle suddenly chew on my computer?

Randomly found my computer chewed up today and seriously have no idea why. My dog is 12 years old and has never done anything like this. I'm at a loss.

Edit: Calm down reddit. I brought the goofy dog to the vet right away and she checked out normal. They figured some noise must have set her off. Gums heal quick. Computer goes up high from now on. Also NSFW tag added.

Point me in the right direction: Setting up a personal private server (TBC or WOTLK) for a small group

I'm an OG casual player from way back at the beginning of all this WOW stuff. After probably 4 chunks of playing/retiring from the game over the last 20 years I am thinking about giving it another go. My wife and I played together before kids and had a blast. Now that our kids are 7/8 we've thought about forming a group and having some WOW fun occasionally as a family. The issue I have (and everyone has) is time/money. We don't have tons of time and paying for 4 accounts to play for a few hours a month just doesn't make sense.

I guess I have a few questions:

  1. Is this reasonably possible for a moderately capable computer person to set up?
  2. What expansions are available for private servers? I think I would prefer up to WOTLK, not further
  3. Would my own private server function correctly? I payed MOLTEN WOW years ago and I remember a lot of broken mechanics and whatnot...
  4. Is it possible to open the server outside my local network to have an additional friend or two play with us?
  5. Is it possible to add (relatively) smart bots to the world to make it a little more lively? I saw a video about a guy running a private server on a steam deck with bots...
  6. Similarly, is there a way to make the auction house seem lively and realistic?
