I don't really know what happened. I was siting in the kitchen and talking with my mom. When I instinctively blinked suddenly I saw myself in third person except instead of seeing...the current me I saw myself as a guy with a messy mullet.

That version of me had a ton of jewelry, a big tattoo of the skeleton used for 3d animation on his left arm and he was wearing a simple tank top and a big black pants with a belt chain.

When I snapped back I was hella confused. I was checking my hands, touching my hair and moving tongue expecting to feel a piercing while thinking: 'Wait! This not me! I'm not a girl that looks like a total loser...' before inevitably realizing that I am the loser girl. My brain just blue-screened for a minute.

This happened few hours ago and I'm still not over it. Like WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT?! Why did I saw myself that way and why even tho that guy looked different than me (outside of height hair/eye color) I'm more certain that that was me than whatever I see in the mirror?! I'm used to gender dysphoria but this is something completely different!

I already didn't like the little holes on my ears and wearing normal earrings made me feel dysphoric so I thought this would be a good solution. Also since my mom doesn't know about this (but I'm pretty sure she will have similar reaction to the meme) and it takes like year for the ears to get stretched more than 5 mm it will be too late before she realizes.

I'm getting bored of my basic long hair. I'm considering getting a mullet would cool but I never had short hair and I'm scared it would look bad. Do you think it’s a good idea or should I leave my hair as it is?
