Opti or Injectors?

I rescued this 94 almost three years ago, it was a no start/crank/rotation situation that we got running again. I've always suspected that I would need to replace the injectors (along with a complete rebuild/replace), but part of the rehab process in '23 was replacing the Opti and water pump with AutoZone units. Opti is vented.

Lately it has been a bit difficult. It will either start up instantly, or I will have to flood the gas pedal to get it to start - and it will then run really rough for a bit then start to be ok. When cold, it will stumble when raving from idle. The last couple times I've driven it though, I've gotten the random shutoffs. It will start back up instantly, though.

That last bit to me says Opti, but what I've seen others say is that theirs don't start back up like mine does. Having to flood doesn't sound like the Opti, but I don't have a lot of experience with this. I think I've put a total of a thousand miles on it in the three years.

I have an oscilloscope, bought when I was trying to get the engine to work again. I just don't have a lot of spare time lately, thought I would ask some questions first.

Bose Leia?

Bought a pair of QC Ultra 2s open box-excellent from Best Buy. they look authentic, have all the right ports and touch control. They connect to the phone and the Bose app as Bose Leia, which a search tells me absolutely nothing about.

I shut the app off and deleted it before it could install the February update. All of this seems to be telling me these are authentic, I just don’t know why a search for this has come up completely empty.

For anyone curious, I briefly had a pair of new Uktra 2s and I seem to remember they came up in the phone as QC Ultra 2, not Leia. I found this pair for $287, so I pulled the trigger again.

New to Fosi and better audio - help requested

I have a meager little setup that is nice for what I paid for it, but I saw Speed's Vinyl vs CD vs Spotify video that featured the ZA3 and fell in love with the aesthetic. I want to build a clean setup for my midcentury-inspired office, and don't really know where to begin. Let's say I only want to use a single brand like Fosi to keep things simple and aesthetic.

Current:

  • Vinyl - Audio-Technica LPGO-BT, Douk U3 amp, ATH-M40x headphones. 3.5mm to RCA from the turntable to the Douk.
  • Digital - either at my desk with Edifier R1280DBs/T5 sub or one of about twenty pair of BT earbuds/headphones, or my phone with the same bluetooth, or a Zune/iPod/MD player depending on the mood.
  • CDs - I have a collection, but no current way to play them.

What I'd kinda like to do is merge things together so I could listen to vinyl at my desk wirelessly with better sound than the BT integrated into the turntable (if it can be better, I don't know), or listen to streamed music via a dedicated unit in my lounge chair. I'm just a bit confused as to what I would need to pull this off, as the product line seems to have some overlapping features and I'm not 100% familiar with all the concepts to know what would essentially be double-dipping.

The ZH3 can hook up to my turntable and streamer, and output it to the headphones and speakers - but not bluetooth. The ZD3 can do bluetooth, but doesn't have a headphone jack. I am also unsure if I would benefit from the ZA3 with either. Then there's the MC331, which appears to be everything I'm looking for, but does that mean I don't need anything else? I'm so confused. Trying to learn a new hobby as you get older is more difficult.

E: OK, apparently all the bluetooth capability is input, not output.

Do you ever fly different airplanes, or did you pick the one you are in love with and that's all you fly?

I am transitioning from a flying/driving rig I designed and built myself to one that more closely resembles an A320. I was looking at replica G1000 panels for GA usage, and found that the Airbus stuff from Winwing and others was cooler and sometimes less expensive. Yet, whatever happens I will still want to fly different types of aircraft, and hopefully have room to mount a wheelbase and drive as well.

Did the immersion you created for one plane make it more difficult to enjoy different ones? I'm going to invest some significant time making this one look and work great, and want to make sure I'm not making a mistake going into it. I want to use KBM as little as possible, and rely on the physical controls in front of me. For a G1000, that means pairing a screen with a Stream Deck as an alternative to a real (fake) thing. The Saitek panels I have now do a decent job at allowing me to switch aircraft types, I don't want to feel boxed in.
